The weather was wonderful so we chose to sit on the screened in porch and we received very good service. Ordered Veal Scalapini and it was good. An addition of lemon or garlic or a splash of white wine in the sauce would take it to the next level. My wife had the chicken bruscetta with broccoli. The dish was cold because the Bruscetta was not warmed before putting it on the chicken. Chicken was nice and tender. Wonderful entree just needed some heat. Since we are wood fired oven pizza snobs we try a small pizza. the cheese and sauce we real good. Can't say the same for the crust, which is the foundation of every good pizza. Suggest a 3 day cold fermentation with the dough to enhance the flavor. Then the pizza would be in a 9/10 range. Overall wonderful dining experience“

“Highly recommend the Grandma’s Trio. Don’t be afraid of the margarita pizza in the middle. I was worried it was too saucy but wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I am SO glad I did! It turned out to be my favorite section, although I must say all three are outstanding. It’s pizza you’ve never had and don’t know you needed, and 100% worth trying. We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. We first tried it two years ago on a trip to the RV show and when the memory popped up this week we decided we needed the 2.5 hour road trip. Thanks for another great meal!“

We had a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and you can tell they use good quality cheese and good pepperoni. We also had some of their pastries, we had the guava pastry with a cheese filled quesito, they were both good. They would taste better warmer or freshly made but they keep them refrigerated. If you’re planning to dine-in, you must be aware that it’s a small place and tables are limited but if you’re doing takeout, this is a perfect small local business to support while eating some delicious and decently prized food. This was about 9pm and there was a shop 2 blocks away and said they closed early, so I looked at Google again and found a few that were still open and deliver.
