“I travel for a living, and I frequent many diners. I was working at Indiantown Gap and Googled for diners near me. Little did I know that this would turn out to be my number one. Food is excellent and the wait staff is super friendly. I typically, order one of the specials wherever I go, and I was never disappointed here. Also, the entire menu is great, and the calimari is delicious. Soups are excellent, especially, the NE clam on Fridays. It is well laid out in there, with plenty of booths and tables. Super clean, and a great place to eat. Highly, recommend.“

“We decided to head to Harrisburg today to walk thru the city and along the river. I had heard good things about Hooker Seafood Joint and suggested it to my husband for lunch. It was empty of customers, so you can't help but be a little skeptical, but people are sleeping on this place! If you haven't been there yet, you need to go now! Like, RIGHT NOW. The food was fresh and hot, the crab and shrimp fries were packed in the container, and the flounder was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned, flaky and crispy and the best my husband said he's had anywhere. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Did I mention you need to go now?!“

I ordered the Cajun Penna Pasta and my fiancé ordered the Southern Catfish. If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC southern comfort food, this is the place to go. The kitchen staff knows their stuff, and it shows through the quality of the food. I love that I can now get a little taste of Louisiana without having to hop on an airplane. Definitely my new favorite restaurant:) The atmosphere was amazing from the service to the music and decor. We will be back!“

The holiday decor really makes you feel like you are in a winter wonderland. So gorgeous! His steak was cooked to perfection and I really recommend the salmon mornay dish! There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list. When available, the Chuleta and Percebes are also on that list. Mangia!“

“I love the setup here. I went early and the salsa was fresh. They were very festive with it being Halloween season. I ordered the nachos supreme… these need a lot of work. Diced tomatoes go long way. They give you one half slice of a small tomato. Under that is a bed of lettuce with the rest of the toppings at the bottom. It makes the chips under it soggy

I also ordered steak burritos. The rice was good.. these burritos weren’t bad. Steak seemed overcooked.

My friends were so surprised for the delicious food as they usually have to visit China town for such tasteful authentic cuisine. “My roommate and I went on a Friday night around 11pm. It was maybe half full. Long story short, the next morning i couldn't find my wallet. I was certain I left my wallet on the table. I called the bar the next day and spoke with a manager.. later on I received a call from the owner of Koura. He ran the tapes and laid out in detail everything that happened and assured me I did NOT lose my wallet there. The fact that he took the time to review alot of footage just to help a guy he doesn't know says alot. Also the staff were very helpful during our visit to accommodate the language barrier.

There were two groups of people that came in after us. both groups of people received their food before we did and left before we even received our food. It was cold we brought it to the servers attention. She said Oh sorry we're busy took it back. brought the food back out said she warmed it up but it was no warmer than it was before she took it. waste of $40. Will not return“
