“I am from Maryland. Having two kids going to college in Pittsburgh, I was introduced to Oakmont Bakery. Everything I’ve ever had has been amazing. There is a specific bagel that I am overwhelmingly obsessed with. I won’t even share which one because I want there to be bagels in stock when I go up there! Now that my daughter has a car at college, I won’t be there as often. Yesterday after college drop off, I got there in time to find 5 of my bagels left. I know I can order them for pickup (done it a few times). Nobody near me has bagels like this. Thanks for my obsession“

Pasta was cold, filet not prepared correctly then given back to me burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We were so very disappointed. $200 wasted and I walked away hungry. Food that's not American, a little exotic -- not trying hard to be fancy. A fun place. I had the Reina Pepiada Arepa & would have it again. Flan for dessert. Very good. On Sunday they have a meaty soup that is reserved for Sunday & which reminded me of when I lived in Nicaragua for two months, many years ago, with a family. To accompany the sin, the Pious Monk Dunkel beer fully lived up to high expectations. That night the staff was glaringly short-handed, but Nicole multiplied herself and took fantastic care of us. They accept card payments, though they nail you with a 2.75% fee for the privilege.“
