“What a friendly neighborhood bar. Had some of the best wings ever with fresh cut fries and my husband enjoyed the boneless bites. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are delicious. Service is friendly and top notch. We met the owner and had such a nice conversation. What a wonderful man. Down to earth and we shared some laughs. The patio is so nice and we enjoyed the warm April weather. Cannot wait to go back. Wish we lived closer. Bands on the weekends pack them in. Convenient parking lot.“

“My clients wanted lunch from this location, so we decided to get it. The order was called in. I got the french bread pizza for myself. When I arrived, I parked in the private lot. I walked into a small, cute restaurant. I was greeted and the food was ready so I paid and left. When I dug in, surprisingly, the french bread pizza was a decent size for the low price. I dug in, and it wasn't bad at all. My clients like their food as well. All in all I had a good experience!“

“We went here for the first time the other day it was beyond our expectations!! The vibe is such a cute and classic look. The iced coffee was delicious! I got one that was a desert cookie and my boyfriend got the ice chai latte which we both agreed was the best one we ever had! They are very welcoming and kind and helps you to any questions. They have board games which I thought was so cute. The breakfast sandwiches were out of this world! I got a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was the best breakfast sandwich I ever had hands down. My boyfriend got the beast which was also delicious. “Showed up after a friend recommended it. We came, and we're greeted very promptly. There was a wonderful woman behind the counter that sat us. We then we're greeted by our server immediately after where she took our order and brought us our drinks. Our food was out in ten minutes and it was delicious. The waffle was amazing, and the bacon was crispy and full of flavor. Overall, it is a very unique place packed with extremely nice people with exceptional food. “First visit back here in quite awhile. Place has been here in Luzerne a long time. Food was great as was the service. Menu is very large. Lots of options from bar food, entrees and pizza along with apps and great salads. Old school bar with great bartenders who know what they’re doing. Chicken cheesesteak pictured. Great time!“

“SO GOOD! It's a small cafe with seating inside, but I ordered take out. I got the meat stromboli, and it was full of flavor and I even had leftovers. I even got non-vegans to eat the buffalo and bbq wings and they liked them! Highly suggest this place, especially in an area where there aren't that many vegan options / restaurants.“

I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. “What's up food crew, today I am at a place I have been trying to get to for a long time. This being Bobby O's. Now they offer a nice variety of food to eat, today it's all about the dogs. In the first segment I am at the diner where I am Hot Doggin' NEPA style where we celebrate the hot dog and not rate the hot dog. This is a berk's dog where I tried the bacon and cheese, this was very tasty, the cheese was a liquid cheese and they used bacon bits compared to just putting bacon strips on the dog. My second dog was the chili dog where the chili had a nice taste, my only critique is they just threw on big ass chunky onions, personally I like a finer chopped onion, The one employee agreed with me. Now in the second segment I brought home their Italian hoagie to eat later on. Now I must make a retraction from the video. Now I ordered their hoagie as like it comes just with sweet peppers and no hot. I also asked for mayo no dressing, now does this sound like a difficult request. Well, it must have because not only did they put the dressing on it, they put the mayo as well. UGH!!!! Now what I wanted to avoid happened, I had a soggy sandwich. Overall besides that mess up this was a packed hoagie, meats, cheese, soft bread, minus the soggy parts that is. They still get a big thumbs up and recommend to all to check them out. The crab cakes were delicious and I believe better than some of our higher end restaurants.On another visit we had the lobster special and liver platter. “Welcome to my next review. This is Torony's Giant Hot Dogs! Now this is not the original location. If you are from the area back in my youth, this being the late 70's and early 80's, they were located on the corner of route 315 and jumper road in Plains. Speaking with the owner today I was told when PennDOT widened Jumper Road they were forced to move. After that they relocated to a building on Main Street not too far from the arena. Now as the owner told me the second location just didn't work out, so they eventually moved to the current location. Now as per the video it's a nice size location, not too big or too small. As I walked in I did speak with the owner off camera and explained why I do food reviews and in my own way help supporting the locals. Now as per the footlongs, I got one with just mustard and onions, and the other with everything being the mustard, onions, and the sauce. Now for the dogs, I didn't taste a snap, but these were grilled nicely, you got a good number of toppings, the chili had a unique taste, different from all the others. Now they do offer fries and burgers and other items but today it's all about the dogs. When we go Hot Doggin' we don't rate the hot dog we celebrate the hot dog with those awesome condiments. “Stopped here as a way to break up a road trip and the reviews did not disappoint. We had a party of 4 adults and one toddler. Relaxed enough atmosphere for him to move around a bit. Food came out quickly and was very fresh. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they got. We ordered soups, salads, sandwiches and Mac and cheese for the toddler. The best Buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had. The breading on the chicken was crispy and the Buffalo sauce had great flavor. Sad we don’t live closer. Will definitely keep this one on our list if we’re back this way.“

I just had a party and had the food catered by them not only were they extremely helpful with the amount of food I would need but the food was fantastic, everyone at the party commented how delicious everything was. “I normally take pictures but I was too hungry. But I will tell you that this place makes omelettes to order. I opted for the Italian bread toast and it comes buttered. The home fries are good and are cooked with onions. The waitress was perfect and didn't rush our breakfast. I honestly can't wait to go back.“

“Had my baby shower here as a friend recommended it. Location is right off 81 (had friends and family from north of Scranton and WB come to this event). Had about 50 people. I myself, the baby momma, am vegan and felt very taken care of along with my two other vegan friends that came! It was a 2 hour shower. Food was quick and they cleared the tables quickly. Boxed my food since I was socializing with my guests. I felt very cared for during the event. All tasted very good, though thought quesadilla was small for a dinner portion (this was not from the appetizer section).Bar tables were filled but only a few tables in dining area. Only one server was working that night: she did a fantastic job covering everything herself. Didn't mind the service being a little slow as we were catching up with friends, and dislike feeling rushed, in general. We hadn't been to Patte's in years - just feel of the radar. I'm always cold and I was comfortable but my guest was sweating. We ordered wings and a side of fries. Everything came out cooked well. I got the red garlic which I assumed would be a tomato based sauce but it was more like a thick vinaigrette with garlic. It was good but not what I expected. The up charged celery was four very small pieces, I'd recommend skipping it. Service was good and the fellow diners were par for the course in NEPA. I would go back for the wings again.Parking: Very small, cramped lot. Some overflow parking across the street. Almost got hit by a car crossing to the restaurant because driver wasn't paying attention in the dark.“
