“We haven’t been there in a while but I have to say tonight’s meals were excellent! As soon as you walk in you smell the aroma of homemade sauce! Had the polenta, always great and portion is crazy. Husband had chicken parm!! Portion was Huge! Other couple had chicken franchaise and ricotta cavatelli w/ vodka sauce! Yummy all the way around and we all left full and happy with some leftovers! Will be back!“

“Great design of an eatery in an old factory brick building. The atmosphere was excellent and unique to the area. The food that our party had was excellent. Nice menu selections, great cocktails, and tasty appetizers. The service was fantastic. Anna was bubbly, knowledgeable and prompt. She made us feel welcome and made a few great suggestions. We will definitely return and I recommend giving it a try if you haven't. “My son kept telling me he wanted us to try this restaurant as he lives in the area and he goes there often. It was a hike for us, but we decided to go try it out. There were 6 of us there, and everyone enjoyed their food, but I will speak to what we ordered. My son insisted we try the pizza as an appetizer. I am not really into pizza when I go out to a restaurant, so I was hesitant. When it came out, it was huge. I loved that it was very crisp on the bottom and it was not overloaded with sauce. It didn't have the typical cheese that slides off the pizza when you order it. The owner, Chris, came to check on us to see how we liked it. I thought it was fantastic, but there are a limited number made during the evening so I think you have to get there early. My daughter and I shared the bang bang cauliflower and that was very tasty. There was a lot of it so we ended up taking some of that home. The other appetizer we had were the soul scallops. We all thought this was an amazing appetizer and I loved the combination with the cornbread. We each had a salad before dinner and I personally like the spring mix with tomatoes. It wasn't an overly large salad, but it was a salad was what is was supposed to be: a precursor to dinner. With the portion sizes of the appetizers and the food, we actually ended up taking some of the salad home. My son got the Italian Chicken and Waffles, which was huge. I was give a taste of that and while it was a combination that I did not think would work, it was very good and a creative recipe. My husband had the Surf and Turf Fricassee and he is still talking about that almost a week later. It was a very nice dish and his steak came out the way he asked. He is frequently disappointed when he goes out to eat in other restaurants and is disappointed by how often the steak is overcooked. I had the Alfredo Bay, which again, was a large portion that I ended up taking home and finishing the next day. I was worried that it was going to be a bit too spicy with the Old Bay, but I liked the combination of ingredients so I thought I would give it a try. You can taste the kick, but it wasn't overwhelming thankfully. When talking to the owner, he said that the only dessert they were out of was the Tiramisu (which is one of my favorite desserts). His mom personally makes it so it tends to sell out. Chris.....tell your mother to make more (just kidding). The staff that we interacted with were very personable and friendly. While this was a little over an hour from home, we will definitely be back the next time we are visiting our son!“

“Been by Cosenzas hundreds of times and finally decided to give it a try after I learned of the vegan options they provide! Though I am not vegan, my girlfriend is so finding places that we can enjoy is a bit more challenging.I saw the "vegan pizza" on their marquee and looked it up on Google where I found an abundance of vegan praises so we had to give it a try.We were not disappointed at all! Half the customer area is set up like pizzeria style and the other half is a nice dining area. Waitress was attentive and got us started. When we checked the menu the only vegan food we saw was the pizza. From what I read on Google I knew they had more options so I asked and good thing. They have a completely separate vegan menu so you'll likely have to ask if thats what you are looking for!Vegan menu was decent as it is but the waitress also told us that if there is something we want vegan, and they have the ingredients (from their vegan menu items) then they will likely make whatever we wanted. (i.e. if we wanted a vegan cheeseteak pizza, which isn't on the menu, they will add the vegan "beef" along with peppers and onions or whatever and boom, vegan cheesesteak pizza).I got traditional ravioli and meatballs and it was great, no complaints whatsoever.We will definitely be back and I hope the other foods we try are equally gratifying!“
