“For many years I have gone to Patron’s with family and friends. But this review is specific to my latest experience with them. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. Lots of compliments from our guests too— thanks!“

“As always, Off the Hook delivered in all areas. The food and service were outstanding! I have food allergies and our server, Hope, was very knowledgeable about the ingredients of each meal and if she was unsure, she checked with the chef. I had more choices here than I do in other restaurants and felt very safe eating what was served. The ambiance was lovely and my husband, whose birthday it was, received a free treat at the end of the meal. This restaurant is one of our go-to places for special occasions. Well done, Off the Hook!“

“Friendly employees, fresh food, got a cod fish sandwich and hush pups. Excellent meal and ready fast. Many diffetent sauces and spices!! These types of stores are needed in all neighborhoods. There are less and less around now. This is a market too. It serves many needs in a small working class area. Make an effort to stop here, many varieties of fresh prepared chicken and fish and sides. Skip the chain fast food, support local places, they often struggle and need commitment from residents. If youve been in the big cities, it will remind you of the corner markets that used to be common in each neighborhood. Its a gem u should appreciate and patronize often !!“

“We LOVE Kanlaya. Small family run business. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. Take the 0-4 Spice level seriously. 😉 I get Spicy 1 and that is plenty spicy.“

“First time visiting. Definitely worth the drive from Pittsburgh. Easily accessible, convenient parking. Party of two, dined inside. Enjoyed appetizers, entree and dessert. Food was delicious, and excellent - PERSONAL - service. Our waitress was Janet, and she was absolutely wonderful. Ended up striking conversation with her and another couple. “We decided to give them another try from not being that impressed when they first opened. The restaurant is now very casual. I ordered the 40 dollar soup, entry ,desert. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries. My soup came right away. Then bread. Then we waited for 55 minutes for entries. That was really too long.“
