“For many years I have gone to Patron’s with family and friends. But this review is specific to my latest experience with them. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. Lots of compliments from our guests too— thanks!“

“Off the Hook is excellent. Started with OTH Manhattan, which was great. I asked our server to send my compliments to the bartender, which he did. My wife had tuna sashimi and I had halibut for our main course after sharing a Cesar salad. The half salad portions were huge, can't imagine ordering a whole one. Our entrees were excellent, very fresh and flavorful. A bottle of Pinot Noir (we drank half and took the rest home) paired very well with a fantastic dinner. Our server, Tim was friendly and professional.“

“Friendly employees, fresh food, got a cod fish sandwich and hush pups. Excellent meal and ready fast. Many diffetent sauces and spices!! These types of stores are needed in all neighborhoods. There are less and less around now. This is a market too. It serves many needs in a small working class area. Make an effort to stop here, many varieties of fresh prepared chicken and fish and sides. Skip the chain fast food, support local places, they often struggle and need commitment from residents. If youve been in the big cities, it will remind you of the corner markets that used to be common in each neighborhood. Its a gem u should appreciate and patronize often !!“

“We LOVE Kanlaya. Small family run business. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. Take the 0-4 Spice level seriously. 😉 I get Spicy 1 and that is plenty spicy.“

“First time visiting. Definitely worth the drive from Pittsburgh. Easily accessible, convenient parking. Party of two, dined inside. Enjoyed appetizers, entree and dessert. Food was delicious, and excellent - PERSONAL - service. Our waitress was Janet, and she was absolutely wonderful. Ended up striking conversation with her and another couple. “Food and beverages were beyond phenomenal (Hail Mary for the win)! We sat outside and really enjoyed the morning sun while we chatted and enjoyed our meal. Service started strong, but dwindled as the restaurant got busier; our refills went unnoticed, requests were not followed through (i.e., more bread or a condiment) and we essentailly bussed our table ourselves. Normally, I would attribute this to more diners, but we saw 8 different members of the waitstaff outside alone. Regardless, would return to Firebirds again!“
