“Yes, I recommend Renee Cold Cut Hut.. often when I eat lunch meat i can taste nitrites all afternoon but I shared an Italian hoagie and it was fresh, delicious and best of all, I didn't burp it up all afternoon and the service is great. They also make the best Thanksgiving hoagie I've found in the area! Delicious!”

“A great place to grab a beer and some food. Definitely locally owned. The seating options could use a bit of updating, but I never let it bother me. The food was decent and cooked to my satisfaction. Portions were very generous.”

“I love there ice cream it has great flavor and does not taste artificial. I would argue that there ice cream is better the Malacaris in Mountain Top. Even there ice cream sandwiches are great. Unfortunately we are moving to Slocum/Nuangola area so the drive will be much further. Maybe someday Woods will decide to open an ice cream shop in Mountain Top or Slocum/Nuangola area hint hint wink wink.”

“ambiance is nice, great atmosphere for dinner, service was a little slow especially the food coming out, but the food was excellent, the server was friendly and attentive, outside of service a little slow, we used a gift card and was charged 3 percent charge for a credit card, I explained to the server it was a GC and not a credit card, she apologized and took the bill, she came back and said the machine would not allow the charge to be taken off, there was 6 of us and didn't feel like staying any longer, but Gift card is same as cash and shouldn't be charge the credit card fee since the business isn't paying any fee”

“when traveling you're never quite sure what the reception will be at a small local bar. here you are welcomed. bartender was smiling, patrons seemed to know each other..upbeat atmosphere..incredible drink price..I believe it was happy hour. glassware spotless. clean. smoking is allowed but it wasn’t to bad. the diverse menu looked good, will try some food next time.”

“Food is so good. Ordered paneer Tikka masala and paneer biryani and lassi. Everything was done so well. Roti was also very fresh. Felt like dhaba from India. The spot is a bit run down so I didnt eat there but the food and service is outstanding.”

“This is a high volume McDonald’s right off the PA Turnpike Northeast Extension I-476. I travel a lot over the years and have been in many McDonald’s all over PA, NJ, NY, CT, OH, & WV. Prices are less here than McDonald’s in rest stops & travel plazas on the turnpike. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The food I ordered was fresh and the service was fine. Not a whole lot of food options at this exit, but this is by far the best.”

“The people there are great!!! Although I decieved them of my Uncle's birthday. We, a dozen of us, from out of state where in the area to visit the house he was born in 95yrs ago in Eckley miner's town. They came with cake and song for him. When they over heard my grandson's (9yrs his great, great nephew) birthday was the next day. They did the same for him. Also, When we left there and was waiting for our family to gather outside. We met a women who offered to guide us to my Uncle's parents cemetary. Which would have been a challenge. And by chance, when we reached our destination. Her sister, a passanger, knew my uncle while growing up there.

“Had our daughters Sweet 16 party here with about 70 people, a DJ and lots of younger kids. This place is the PERFECT place to host any party! We were all impressed with this venue. There is enough space to dance and have a DJ but a place on the other side to relax play pool/fooseball and just hang out if the music is too much for guests. The staff there helped carry things in and had the whole place set up ready to be decorated! Also, everyone knows the worst part of any event is the clean up. Well, Broadway Tavern told us to take what we wanted and leave the rest up to them!!!!! I will definitely be using this place in the future!! HIGHLY recommend!!!”

“When my Jeep grenaded it’s serpentine belt I pulled into the owners lot where I was greeted by Don and Vicky, they looked at my car, insisted I come in to stay warm and even gave me a few pints to take the sting of breaking down away! It doesn’t hurt they like the Steelers either! I will be back soon for real with my wife to say hello”
