“We only had an hour for lunch. So we each chose a slice of cheese pizza and added our 3 favorite toppings. With water for a drink, 2 of us ate lunch for less than $10. I loved the things crispy crust and the toppings and cheese and sauce were delicious. I'll go back there again!“

I had a grilled sticky bun which was a disappointment also. Looked and tasted like it was sitting around for a while and the sticky tasted like a caramel sauce.“

“I held a private luncheon on a Saturday afternoon for 30 people. Mick responded promptly when I made an online inquiry. The room and food were prepared to perfection. The service was excellent, the room and tables were clean, and the food was delicious. It was nice to have the outdoor area for the little kids to get a break and play. We had reserved the room for two hours, and some guests were slow to leave. The staff was patient and did not rush us out the door. I highly recommend Mick’s in Willow Street.“

I watched them train a new employee to do the same! Pinch and pull the dough- enough sauce, but not too much. Carefully and skillfully place all ingredients! final inspection before the fire and then another after. Watch for this and that before you serve. Pizza will. ever to the same for me.“

“The lobster pasta was superb! Halibut special was delicious, as well. The only complaint with our meal was stale bread. On a Saturday night, the bread should be fresh. The service was very good. We plan on returning when we are back in Lancaster.“

“I have eaten here many of times. The food is always so good. I got two pizza's last night and it was really hard to eat because it had a burnt taste to it. I had gotten two pizza's and they both tasted the same. A little disappointing being I have always had great pizza from here. The burnt taste for me was so bad. Felt like I wasted $40 on pizza. I still give 4 stars because of past experiences.“

“We had one of the most wonderful dining experience at Vecu restaurant ( used to be known as Bistro Barbaret). Chef Kevin is a young, promising chef with a great potential!! The service was superb!! Meridith, the maître de is absolutely the best show in town!!! Very knowledgeable, experienced and personal. This place will not be the same without him!! Can’t wait to be back there for another delightful dining experience. On the way out we couldn’t avoid the little European pastry shop. We are very well traveled European couple and we must say, these are by far one of the best pastries in the US, if not the top!!! Look for delightful Jamie behind the counter:) This the closest you can get to a true French dining experience.🗼“

“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

Our 11 year old son had a chicken and rice bowl with yellow coconut curry sauce and he wanted me to write that it had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken had a perfect texture. Five stars!! “We have been going there for decades. Generous portions (at good prices) give at least one more meal from leftovers. Rarely have room for the good-looking desserts, but when we do, they are great. Vegetables often disappoint, but a double order of the excellent fries provides potatoes with our eggs the next morning.“
