“I stopped in here for the for time since they opened and I was pleasantly surprised. The store was clean and well kept. I ordered an old fashioned cheesesteak. The bread was soft, the meat was flavorful, the cheese was melted to perfection and overall it tasted really good. The worker who took my order was polite and my food was done quickly. I love when I have good experiences because i’m usually writing reviews about bad service or bad food quality.“

“Del Rossi to me is the best cheesesteak in the city. They’re permanent bread and fresh ingredients makes it amazing. And one of the things that people sleep on there is the chicken cheesesteak probably the best chicken cheese that I’ve ever had. The staff is great. The owners are great. “They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. “Just tried Bob's for the first time & its was amazing. When I walked in the customer service was impeccable. Very friendly & personable guy. I think was the owner. I tell people all the time, great customer service will put you in positions money can't! The steak was flavorful & a nice size. Thank goodness for no seeded rolls!!!! “I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“Showing love from Youngstown,Ohio!! Visited Philly for the Roots Picnic and a friend recommended this place. I loved the energy of the guys!!! Got us in and out in about 7 mins. They do take card! Unlike a lot of other businesses around there. I got a Steak Philly w/cheese, a strawberry lemonade, and banana pudding. The Philly bun was amazingly soft and whole sandwich was delicious! Nice amount of meat just how I like 😁..Fresh Strawberry lemonade was perfect. And that banana pudding! My goodness. They use the Chessmen-like cookies which I love!! And it's layered with them not just on top! Perfect amount of banana to pudding ratio 👌🏾 Definitely would visit again!!! Love y'all 😘🫶🏾“

“The best cheesesteak in the area for sure. Bread was soft the meat was perfectly cooked juicy as heck and not dry next time I’ll get extra cheese but it doesn’t need it! Barely needed ketchup. Perfectly fried crinkle cut fries (my fav). Also got the salmon cheesesteak egg roll and it was delicious I just wish it had a dip like some spicy ketchup or something but it was juicy and seasoned. Above all else the owners are black and super friendly ppl. Definitely will be back for more. Oh and it was about $16 for everything very affordable unlike these pizza places charging $15 for a dry ass cheesesteak with over cooked meat.“

“Excellent cheese steaks and hoagies, but was more convenient when they were open 24 hours. They should go back to 24/7. I'd go at least once a week around 1:00am. They'd get mad DoorDash orders, too, because Wawa lost some quality with all their recent expansions.“

“The cashier was absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience so much better. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, welcoming, and very professional. They took the time to answer my questions, were patient while I decided what to order, and kept such a positive attitude the whole time. “I live not too far from Larry's steaks o. 9th and Girard. Im a Phillycat born and raised and I've been across country and to Alaska. This is hands down one of the best steak places to go in philly! And there are a few little hood jaws, up in the cut but good a** food. No doubt stop in and grab something in day or late night they the spot. I usually order a classic cheese steak and fries, cheese burger and fries, or a steak stromboli. Which I got a small and felt Hella greedy cause it was so fargin big! I thought they gave me a large by mistake?! The prices are higher than the poppy store of course but well worth it. Check them out asap if your down to f up some good a** food ok lates people“

“I've never been here, but I order through Uber Eats all the time. Their breakfast sandwiches are very good. I usually get the BOGO Grilled Cheese on a raisin bagel(1 Pork Bacon/1 Beef Scrapple) or a couple 2 Egg/Meat/Cheese raisin bagels. Sometimes I'll grab a couple Hash Brown Patties also. The food is not always made perfectly, but I've never had the food be nasty.

There are a couple of improvements they could make, though. One would be to add more meat comparable to the price that has to be paid for it. Normally, there are two whole slices of bacon on the sandwiches. (I believe three or four should be the norm, but that's just my opinion and love for bacon. I digress.) When you pay $4 for just extra meat, my sandwich should have four to five slices on it now, not THREE. I haven't paid for extra meat since that one incident. Nobody would be happy with a price tag like that. The other improvement would be to how the hash brown patties are prepped for delivery. There should be a small sheet of foil or parchment to keep the patties from sticking to each other as they cool. They are obviously placed on top of each other while they are still hot. As they cool, they bind to each other. Separating them without them just breaking to pieces is almost impossible. It's annoying.

Overall, though, I'm satisfied with the food I get from EB&D. The few inconsistencies I've experienced aren't enough to stop me from ordering from them. I hope my suggestions will be considered if the owner/management reads them. :)“

It wasn’t too greasy. It was just a perfect balance lots of meat on the slice. I got the pepperoni and sausage.

“I haven't been back in Philadelphia for like many years and I came back to Philadelphia to get a cheesesteak and two slices of cheese pizza , and man I'm telling you I have missed this place. Deadpool served there will knock your socks off. When I come back in Philadelphia I don't go to any other place but Explorer' s Den to get my food. The food is superb!“
