“I don’t usually write reviews under restaurants but this was necessary. I needed a new spot to eat it and decided to give Tropical Smoothie a try and oh my God!! First off I want to shout out Yatasha and Taylor because I feel like my food wouldn’t have been good without them. I needed help on deciding what to order and Yatasha recommended the hummus wrap. When I tell yall the taste was so immaculate and flavorful! Literally the best wrap I’ve ever had in the past 40 years of my life. It was almost like they made the food with love and care, it was perfect down to a T! From the presentation of the food, to the portion sizes all the way down to the taste. Dont get me started on their chocolate chip cookie, I’m not sure if they heat it up but the chocolate was melted so perfectly. Literally the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had and that says a lot because I’ve tried a lot of chocolate chip cookies. The scenery was very nice and clean as well. May I add, the quickness at this place was surprising, I was in and out. No complaints here, you guys gained another customer. 10 out of 10 highly recommended this place. I’ll be back, Yatasha and Taylor prepare to be sick of me lol.“

Our first experience at a vegan restaurant and all three, myself, my daughter, and a friend who are not vegan, but totally loved what we each picked. The menu variety was good, the food presentation was inviting. My daughter is a picky eater, and plate cleaned. The portions were a healthy size, the water was good, calming music, atmosphere, the staff was so pleasant, and the design decor was beautiful! We can't wait to return. Oh and price was fair. By the way, I had the chick-un veg Mac n cheese n saute kale, my daughter had the quinoa stir fry, our friend had the chick-un, n waffles. I finally made it here after a year of not wanting to stand in line for an hour (that's how it usually is here unless you order ahead of time online). The food did not disappoint and I got banana pudding for later. Atmosphere gets 2 stars only because it's outside a gas station.“

“Addicted to this place. What a neighborhood gem! The smoothies and acai bowls are so fresh. In fact all the food they make tastes fresh, and flavorful. I always get the grilled chicken wrap. The folks who work there have great customer service. It may take a bit of time to get your food because they make it from fresh fruit/from scratch. It is well worth the wait plus the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend it.“

“I have been coming to TWR for years, and cannot recommend them enough.The sauna is a sanctuary! I love the infrared light and that you can choose the color for whatever need you want to target. I usually just let it cycle through all the colors to get a little bit of everything :)Walking in to the sauna room and seeing your name on the little board is a thoughtful touch and reminder that this is my time for myself. I always feel incredible after a sauna sesh at TWR!The tonic bar has so many delicious and nutrient-packed treats. “Came in to town ordered take out , our first time eating there, food was very good especially the mac and cheese and fried fish, my only complaint, i ordered just the fish and no sides i was told i get 3 pieces of fish, i only got all the way home and it was 2 lil pieces of small fish, it was good though but i paid $20 for that? i also had the turkey wing platter it was good but i can’t stand eating big turkey wings that look like they was injected with something , them was some big ole turkey wings. had to trash one. My fiancé got the wing dings and fries he said the wings was pretty good.“

Vegetarian options: No meat is served here…it’s smoothies & fruit bowls. A halal cart is next to it though.

“I’ve been here multiple times. Best juice place in the city. They have yummy bites too! Houthi free options and the soups are so flavorful and satiating. I’ve had the curry chicken salad, I love the twist on this and the bread was super fresh. I’ve also tried the morracan chic pea soup I went back the same day to get enough to last all week. Sooooo good. I have tried a lot of their smoothies and juices always fresh and delicious. I absolutely adore this place. Great prices too! I love gene healthy food is affordable. I pray they stay in buisness for years to come. Always a friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I really love this place. Must check it out.

“Well I found out about this place threw chatgpt. I texted the number provided on the IG page and ordered me a one day juice cleanse. The owner gave me directions for pick up, and on my way, I ordered 2 additional smoothies and a beet root shot. Once I arrived I was greeted with good customer service all the staff was friendly and polite. JuicebyB made sure all my questions were answered, and I even called a few times with questions, and she provided me with helpful answers. I'm definitely going to come back and far as taste and quality. So far, I had 3 different flavors, all delicious and fresh. Everything was on time and ready by time I got there so if you're looking for a fresh smoothie or trying to cleanse your body from junk food then give this place a chance.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

We met a security guy who showed us where we could get similar things as if he had no idea that it was Frutta and understandable because the name is just hidden. So as a guide when you go get these amazing fruit bowls look for the name salad in between Kitchen and Sushi. The person was amazing at working with us and just great job“

“I went here with my son, he got a chai milk tea and I got taro which I was unaware it would be chunks of taro instead of the sweet purple taro drink I'm used to from other boba places. The guy worker was very kind, he allowed me to get a different drink since I really disliked the one I ordered. Thanks again!“

“We got the veggie platter and the lamb. The platter was generally good although the potatoes in the tikelgomen felt a bit undercooked it was a bit solid and lukewarm in the middle. Rest of the vegetables were well cooked.

Main thing is the injera was too sour and overpowered everything else. (Not my first time eating injera/Ethiopian)

As for the service, the woman running it on Sunday lunch was very sweet.“

Kamals is located inside the Reading Terminal market, as soon as you walk in from one of the Home2 hotel facing side entrance, it is right there.

Staff were super friendly, and took the effort to find out when they will have more dubai chocolate come in since they were sold out for that day.

As for the sweets they have here are authentic middle eastern yummies. Real honey, delicious flavor.

“We had dinner here for the first time on Sat, 11/12/22–what a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had muscles for our appetizer that were fresh and very tasty. We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent!
