“We have driven across the country to show our amazing French Bulldogs at the national fair grounds of Allentown. Across the parking lot we were thrilled to find a fantastic farmers market. It is truly full of amazing treats of every kind and every ethnicity. We were incredibly lunch to find FOODS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN yesterday. The owners were in the middle of every part of this place. These two were cooking, talking, selling, serving and best of all for us entertaining.Their ingredients are obviously fresh and everything is prepared daily, fantastic!!!! We had a collection of salads l, they have so many to choose from. We also had moussaka and gyros. So Yummy!!! “We went to Social Still on the recommendation of a friend. We were coming in from out of town for a concert and to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Social Still did not disappoint. The atmosphere and staff were perfect. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. We started with some cocktails, ( both of us are admittedly picky about drinks), and we loved ours so much we left with a bottle of botanical gin. The food was delicious, I had the crab and chorizo beignets. Such a great combo and excellently prepared. The hand cut fries were a nice add on and disappeared from the table as soon as we started eating them. Everything was perfect from beginning to end, and I really appreciated the menu item “by a round of drinks for the kitchen staff”. That shows me that it is run by people who care about each other. Anyway, day, two day old coffee ? Don't want to suffer the burnt re-cook of the stove, or the radiated foaming microwave ? Crack out the old perc from the camping supplies. Do not use the guts, just simply add a few, literally less than my son's handfull, Monocacy Coffee whole beans into the aged coffee, bring to quick boil and viola ! Resurrected super delicious enjoyable renewable coffee. Truth.“
