“Have been dining at Chez Yvonne's Restaurant for many years and always enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the good home cooked meals.“

“Ok!!! Let me start by saying that we had a mixed group of 15 individuals from Ontario, Montreal, Halifax, Fredericton and NL. There was a mix up in a reservation (we were at wrong restaurant lol) and there was no space inside. The girls there, manager I believe suggested a small place on their deck where they put up a wall for us to block any wind, which was great and beautiful at the same time having an exceptional view of the water. Ok, so now 15 people how quickly and good will food be. These waitresses were like nothing we have ever seen, worked together, drinks came fast with smiles. Appetizers came shortly there after and then the mains, near perfect timing. Then the food! No question, best muscles I have ever had in my life and I’ve ate a lot of muscles!! The fish cakes, the lobster Mac and cheese, the salads, unreal!! I hope whoever owns this place appreciates and realizes the great staff they have, because they were perfect in every way and same for the chefs.. We have all ate in lots of restaurants and this is a must if you’re heading to North Rustico, you won’t be disappointed!!! “w Cozy atmosphere with great service. We had pan seared haddock and beautifully steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. Creme brulee for dessert. So delicious. Very welcoming.“

“Stopped by at Carr's Stanley Bridge on Saturday afternoon and the deck overlooking the harbour was worth the wait for a table. The chowder had real chunks of scallop and mussel in it, not the usual watered down version you get at tourist spots. Service was quick and friendly even though the place was packed with the lunch crowd, and our server actually knew which boats the oysters came in on that morning. Parking lot fills up fast by 1pm so get there early if you want a spot close to the entrance.“

“Stopped by for a quick bite on a cross-Canada tour. These people are truly a treasure. They even came out to the very pleasant grassy picnic area outside the restaurant to greet our dog. So welcoming. So special - plus the food was awesome!“

“crazy salad bar, too much to choose, mussels and more mussels, just great, I had steak and lobster, steak was surprisingly good and lobster was great and precracked. With all that said, we had lindsay for a server, and she just made the meal, complete with humor, pics and a hug when we left... Ask for Lindsay, she will make your meal so much more enjoyable!!!“
