“Stopped on our way north tonight and ordered a couple of the Shrimp Combo dinners “to-go”. All 3 different types of shrimp were amazing- plus the soup, salad, potato salad & chippers. Yum all around. Be patient and polite please, people. Like everyone else, they are understaffed. Enjoy your cocktail and chill out. Life is too short to be impatient. And their food it so worth it!“
“Another just got off the cruise ship and can’t live without this stuff spot. It’s so hard with these because you never know if it’s actually owned locally or if you’re supporting some corporation somewhere. Oh well. Some fun stuff and they advert the largest ice cream scoop on island. They are big indeed.“
“COWS is a great chain of ice cream stores. We went twice in 2 days. Gooey Mooey, Wowie Cowie, and blueberry ice cream were all great. Service is very good, and prices are ok. The retail part of the store is fun! Lots of shirts with parodies of popular movies or TV shows, quite funny. This is an upbeat, fun place to go to.“
“I was thrilled to find this delightful spot, and just wish I’d been staying longer in Charlottetown to try more flavours. I picked up a jar of their Who Tarted and as it was a bit too hard to eat immediately (with the wooden spoon) I wandered down to the waterfront. I’ve since told people that this was probably one of the very top frozen non-dairy treats I’d ever had, but also one of the top lemon desserts ever. Well done!“
