“Ok!!! Let me start by saying that we had a mixed group of 15 individuals from Ontario, Montreal, Halifax, Fredericton and NL. There was a mix up in a reservation (we were at wrong restaurant lol) and there was no space inside. The girls there, manager I believe suggested a small place on their deck where they put up a wall for us to block any wind, which was great and beautiful at the same time having an exceptional view of the water. Ok, so now 15 people how quickly and good will food be. These waitresses were like nothing we have ever seen, worked together, drinks came fast with smiles. Appetizers came shortly there after and then the mains, near perfect timing. Then the food! No question, best muscles I have ever had in my life and I’ve ate a lot of muscles!! The fish cakes, the lobster Mac and cheese, the salads, unreal!! I hope whoever owns this place appreciates and realizes the great staff they have, because they were perfect in every way and same for the chefs.. We have all ate in lots of restaurants and this is a must if you’re heading to North Rustico, you won’t be disappointed!!! “We visited Pedro's Island Eatery recently and were warmly greeted by Myla, co-owner and wife of the chef, who remembered us from previous summer visits. We ordered Beef Shank in a red wine espagnole sauce which the chef told me is his favorite style of cooking. Exceptional depth of flavor and perfectly tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed pasta Alfredo with salmon two ways, smoked and grilled and is still talking about the dish 2 weeks later. The food here reflects a European style and the culinary excellence of a master chef.”

“We are lucky enough to live around the corner from The Mill and have the talents of Chef Emily Wells in our little community. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, and the view is just as good. A perfect date night. And when she offers meals to-go, you can re-create the culinary magic at home with just a simple re-heat. So yummy!”

“In 2023 we visited, with our 2 month old daughter and it was the highlight of our trip. Fast forward 2 years we were craving mussels and decided that we were traveling from NB to PEI with one of our main reasons being to visit this place again. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know about this resturant I am not sure what will. We have never been to a place with consistently a great expirence and food even two years later. When I tell you we went in expecting the same great expirence as before and were blown away as they somehow improved upon our previous expirence with the quality of our meals and the creativity of their menu. Our toddlers first time trying mussels tonight and I am not sure we set a realistic expectation. They were out of this world. We had the dill pickle flat bread, cajun pasta and fish and chips. I have NEVER had better fish and chips in my life. Hands down. We haven't shut up about this place since we last visited 2 years ago and we won't stop now. “A must-try when visiting PEI! My mom and I probably ate over 100 mussels (2 buckets full!!) and it was glorious. The lobsters were fresh and cooked to perfection. Even the coconut cream pie was delicious beyond my expectations!”

“This place is absolutely amazing. We tried going back two times only to find out they are only open Wednesday to Saturday 10-6. I cried a little. The pie is amazing. But I've never had anything in my life better then the round apple stuffed pastry. It's to die for. We will be back!!!”

“We've driven by here year after year without stopping in but after a Facebook suggestion, we decided to try it. Boy, are we glad we did. This gem is clean and charming, and the food was simply delicious. It was fresh & tasty and the portions are pretty generous. Highly recommend!”

“Food here is great. They have a nice selection of different beaver tail toppings. My family loves the Avalanche, but we have not tried one we didn't like. They also have fries, poutines and hotdogs (with a beaver tail bun!). Service is always fast and friendly here. If you have not tried one, I definitely recommend stopping by.”

“Stopped by for a quick bite on a cross-Canada tour. These people are truly a treasure. They even came out to the very pleasant grassy picnic area outside the restaurant to greet our dog. So welcoming. So special - plus the food was awesome!”

“I have to give the young people who worked here a shout out. Working in fast food in a tourist heavy area isn't an easy task and they kept their cool, they kept happy attitudes, and they were kind even when my husband and I came in 15 mins before close, which neither of us would normally want to do, having worked in the food industry both ourselves. They were quick and kind though and it was much appreciated!”
