“I would like to start with wonderful olive oil. The turbot fish was amazing, it came in perfect shape, the outer parts were juicy and jelly. Even though the mussels were small inside, they were very delicious. Small shrimps with garlic were delicious. Baby potatoes and boiled vegetables along with fish were the color of the meal. Served with tempura green beans, tartar sauce and basil sauce. It was the best I've ever eaten. We chose 2023 Soito white wine to accompany it.“

“Awesome lunch here. We got the red snapper which was great, filleted in front of us and came with fries. Staff were friendly and probably a fair price. Would recommend here for sure and to make sure to check reviews before eating in cascais as we nearly missed this place!“

“Location is worth it for the view of the beach. Very friendly service. Reasonable food. Very tight spaces. The restaurant is on top of the wall so there isn't much space. Not recommended on a hot day. It's a good restaurant to leave the beach, have lunch and return.“

“Not your bog standard sushi place. If you are looking for your food court experience, this is not the place. This is a true tasting experience rich in flavour, style and knowledge, if you are wanting. We came as guests of some friends and let them do the ordering… some things were on the menu and some things were little gifts that came out of the kitchen on the recommendation of the owners. There’s always something off the menu just remember to ask!The whitefish sashimi, ceviche, the house edemame were all stunning. The best though was the toro. If you like Wagyu then this is an absolute must. The owners are always around to help share their knowledge of sushi, the ceremony and the way to eat (spoiler alert - it’s often with your hands).I’ve been in Lisbon for almost 2 years and this will be one of my top 3 food experiences to date.A true culinary journey, and an absolute delight. It’s a small boutique restaurant with a lot of soul.“

“Exceptionally good restaurant! Delicious food, large portions, good prices, electronic menus in several languages on tablets and very skilled waiters who know when to serve, when to clear up, etc., which is unfortunately rare these days. I would highly recommend!“

“It was delicious - fresh oysters, amazing fried shrimp and tuna. My friend also tried the crab hot dog and said it was also great.Very tasty bread and butter for a snack - the only thing I wish was more bread per serving. We were with a baby and a large stroller, the staff helped us get comfortable (they refused to seat us in one of the neighboring places). We will happily return when we are in Cascais ❤️“

“Best meal I've had in Portugal. Beautiful fish, wine and desserts. Great atmosphere both outside on the terrace and inside the main restaurant. Very friendly staff willing to give recommendations. Accommodated my request to eat outside even late in the evening. Absolutely fantastic. Will eat here again.“

“A quaint restaurant with inside and outside tables that was affordable and convenient to the main area of Caiscais central. I had the seafood rice which I had been told to find before I left Lisbon and this was one of the few places I found for a reasonable price. The shrimps were huge and generous and the fish pieces were nice. My friend had a mushroom chicken and rice/potatoes. The green wine on tap was also tasty. Obrigada.“

“Exceptional seafood platter! Curry combs, sprouts, 3 types of shrimp including bouquet, crabs, lobster, periwinkles, murex, oysters + pan-fried shrimp + pan-fried razor clams, mussels, cockles and clams. We also had some bread, which arrived toasted and buttered, a delight ? with a little organic white wine recommended by the waiter, it was perfect. There were 2 of us and unfortunately we were unable to finish it (it is listed for 2/3 people on the menu) but we offer to take away the rest. Very friendly welcome, very pleasant setting, beautiful aquarium in the center.“
“A family home that welcomes us like family.Ricardo (host), welcomed us with a welcome to this humble home. Dona Isabel, Madam, your mother made a cod stew upon request, which was very appetizing, the taste of mother's food. Very very good.Congratulations Ricardo for the friendly house and the way you welcomed us and said goodbye. As much as I can write, I can't convey how much I want to go back...See you soon…Big hug and best wishes for a New Year with many successes.“

“Reviewed June 7, 2023 via mobileYum!Fish is my favorite, I have fish almost every day at home in Canada. It’s easy for me to tell if a fish is fresh or not. Fresh fish needs a good chef to bring out its flavor, like developing a talent. The chef didn’t just grilled the sea beam to perfection l, the veggies and rice too. Everything was piping hot.I highly recommend it. I had several meals there during my two weeks stay in June this year. I will be back next June! Can't wait to see those cheerful friendly faces and eat their tasty seafood again!“

“Dined here on the strength of other reviews. Did not disappoint.Ordered the mussels to start and the grilled salmon for main. Tho the mussels were done straight up, tasted bland when a little seasoning or flare could of been added to make them tastier. However the salmon was cooked to perfection. Really tasty crispy skin and the meat was done perfectly.Highly recommend.“

“Our tour group Collette brought us to this quaint little restaurant. We were so warmly accommodated. I felt welcomed and loved. The sour dough bread was Devine. Soup is highly recommended in Portugal. We had a cream carrot and green bean soup. Amazing! My main course was a white fish with a gravy sauce of onion and garlic with a side of baked potato wedges. This is beyond a 5*. Thank you“

“Very popular place and it’s understandable why (we arrived at 12.30pm on a Tuesday without a reservation but all tables were taken by around 1pm). The food was absolutely delicious, home cooked and filled with flavour. The staff are extremely friendly, even helping with our terrible attempt at Portuguese. The menu is extensive but they also have daily specials which looked very popular, and delicious desserts too. We accepted the offer of all the couverts, which included olives, bread, prawns, mushrooms, and excellent presunto ham at €20, worth every penny as it’s the best we’ve ever tasted but something to be aware of if you’re on a budget. We are already planning our next visit in 3 months time.“

“The food was really good and the waiter was nice. At first glance from the beach side, it seemed like a very simple snacking place, so we initially thought of just having drinks, but then we later decided to order food, and their Bacalhau a bras was really good. Well, all the items we had ordered were good, so I'd definitely recommend this place.“

“Holy moly! A gem of a hole-in-wall seafood place. Recommended by someone here and everything was delicious. The bread and butter, the clams in butter and garlic, the snails, and the stew with rice and razor clams and shrimp.Edit: Went back a second time! I got the bread toasted this time but liked the untoasted bread better a bit better. The hot sauce on the side is also a great addition.I would get the clams pictured everytime. Unbelievable and best prepared clams I’ve had.“

“Grill restaurant with excellent quality. Given the size of the space, it may be difficult to find a table. It is advisable to make a reservation and be available to eat very close to the other tables. It is not the ideal place to have more private conversations.“

“A reserved, silent and romantic place, at affordable prices and without neglecting a certain class that gives it a casual chic atmosphere.Great service and tasty food, with fresh, carefully prepared products and classic desserts but with a special touch, only achievable when made from scratch in the establishment itself. We loved it.“

“From where you can see Sintra and misty Ericeira, had lunch at a place that has very good fresh fish on the grill. We ordered sardines, of course, and were not mistaken, wine verde from the north, a baked apple for dessert.Very attentive service, the only negative was that it was hot, and the coolness came only from the open windows.“

“OMG, it was like visiting my grandma’s house! It was a miserable rainy late November day and the special was like a pot roast. “If you are in the Lisbon area, Ericeira is a must-visit, a beautiful coastal town with many places to eat or drink, a surfer atmosphere, we ate well, the breaded octopus was really weak, but the rest of the things we ordered were good, The site has a terrace, good service, it is better to make a reservation“

“While visiting Cascais, I came to have lunch at the Vela Azul Restaurant, a small, family-run space where traditional Portuguese food, especially fish, is the house specialty. The starter came with Bread, Toast, Butter and a Fresh Cheese. The main course consisted of tasty Grouper Fillets accompanied by naughty Tomato Rice and perfectly well prepared, full of aroma and flavor. I also ordered a Mixed Salad which was generous and well seasoned. I accompanied the meal with House White Wine and finished with a homemade Queijada. Meal around €26 per person. I recommend!“
“Yesterday 13042024 we chose this restaurant for lunch with a group of friends, in the end everyone's opinion was: Amazing food not only in terms of preparation but also in quantity. Everyone's decision, I will return. André, whoever is in charge of this little wonder, continues to treat people well, don't worry, he will always come back. Thank you very much! ?“

“This was an impromptu visit based on a tip from a travel book and a pang of hunger during a long day of exploring. We were seated immediately and cared for by a motherly waitress. We had grilled sardines and bread soup with shrimp (shrimp acorns). This wasn't high cuisine but excellent everyday food, tasty and nutritious, just what you need for a long day of being on your feet.Along with the food, we had a couple of glasses of vino verde, a nice pairing. The atmosphere mixing a few tourists like us with locals, like policemen who stopped for a quick coffee at the counter, enhanced the experience.“

“Employee making a shipment...because it was supposedly late. I gave him 5 euros as a tip on a €110 bill, I have debts if he thanked me. If it was too late, they closed.I knew this restaurant as a tavern, very tavern, where there were holes in the floor. We ate wonderful seafood, today everything has been remodeled, the seafood is still good, but at absurd prices. And the attitude is frankly bad, not to be repeated, as there is much more on offer at better prices“

“Very pleasant, welcoming restaurant, with friendliness and professionalism from those who work there. “We booked here for a work lunch meal and there was 18 of us. They put all the starters on the table when we sat down which was some traditional Portuguese food and it was lovely, infact too lovely as I stuffed myself before my main arrived. They had a great menu selection and I had the fish. They didn’t have what I wanted so the waiter recommended a different fish dish and I’m glad he did, it was amazing. Really fresh and tasty. They have a display of fresh fish which you can choose from which makes it easier. A great restaurant choice if you are in Lagos Park for work.“

“Diogo is the man, made some awesome recs with delicious food. Priced good for what you get and outdoor seating is nice to enjoy the weather. To note, if you’re a non-smoker, you may want to eat inside as most people will be smoking outside which we didn’t realize until we already got our food. Clams with garlic are a great choice here! Diogo deserves a raise for making our experience awesome and making sure we were well taken care of.“

“We went to Solar for my birthday lunch. I had not been to Solar for some years now, but it continues to be a north star for excellent food in Lisbon. Lots of great choices in the menu, we went for the "arroz de lagosta e gambas" and the "bacalhau assado". Both excellent and in generous portions too. As a starter we had some delicious "peixinhos da horta" and we finished off with "arroz doce"...and it was also very good and in a big portion. Service is extremely professional! Staff is always there when you need them, without a feeling of "over-pressure" you sometimes have with over-eager people. Not a cheap place for sure, but you don't get that quality in a lot of places. We paid about 95€ for two people. You absolutely need to book, as the place is always packed. And that brings to my only less positive point: it can be very noisy....but then people are enjoying themselves with an amazing meal with friends. Must Go restaurant in Lisbon“
