“This was our first time in Portugal and after traveling around for a week (Lissabon, Sintra, Lagos, Portimao) we found that this place actually offers the best culinary experience among all the other 4.5+ star restaurants we've been to! No matter what you order is going to be worth the money and you'll quickly fall in love with the way this family run restaurant creates these fantastic meals! Definitely among our favorites are the Ox-Tail as well as their signature Octopus and the Fish and Prawn Soup which was a special of the day! The service is super friendly and I would get anything they recommend. If that won't do it for you, the basil cream with the freshest strawberries surely will as they have been something I have never tasted before in my life and I sure won't forget anytime soon! We came here twice in 6 days and regretted not coming more often!“

“Outstanding. Ordering the octopus rice is essential. We had the Bloody Mary oysters to start which were very fresh and perfectly complimented by the sauce. The dishes are intended to be shared so we ordered the octopus rice and seared tuna steak which were incredible and more than enough food for two. The seared tuna was so light, served rare (by our request but usually served medium rare) and the accompanying sauces and bonito flakes were delicious. Again, the octopus rice is a must order and we haven’t stopped thinking about it for the rest of the week.A note about the service; both the waitresses that served us were kind, attentive and forgave our very poor Portuguese. Unbeknownst to me, my partner had asked one of the waitresses to discreetly record us as we walked along the beach and he surprised me by proposing to me! We really appreciate her capturing the memory for us ?“

“Rodinhas, very well known and highly regarded in Sesimbra, should pay more attention to some important details. Although the food is generally good, the patties served as a starter should have been better fried. The Sangria that they call real should never be served with canned fruit and should include a mint leaf and a cinnamon stick. “The restaurant is located on a narrow cozy street in the center of the city. The food is so delicious. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The filling in the crab was absolutely amazing. The white sangria was very good, it's made with good quality white wine and overall it was a great drink. The oysters were not opened clean, but it didn't spoil the lunch at all. The service was on point.“

“Wij waren op de kaart aan het kijken wat we wilden nemen toen (naar later bleek) de eigenares ons vriendelijk te hulp schoot. Toen uitkwam dat ook zei Nederlands kon werden we zeer vriendelijk en goed geholpen. We hebben daar diverse malen de lunch als ook diner gehad en we werden met raad en daad bijgestaan omdat ik (als diabeet zijnde) wel wat problemen en "eisen" had. Het eten was goed, ruim voldoende en de service was (in onze ogen) optimaal en zou toeristen zeker aanraden hier te gaan eten.“

“The best of SESIMBRA. This dam was a success; Wandering through the streets of the place and already hungry, we found this restaurant with a very inviting terrace and we stopped to have a beer.
