“We fell in love with this place, they have a great selection of food, wine and beers. The best part is the themed nights: Monday is comedy, Tuesday is swing, Wednesday is quizz, Thursday is live music and Sunday is improv.

“2025: great 90s rock music. Cocktail selection is a little limited, but what I had was good. Friendly efficient service. Crowd can be a little much.
2018: Great selection drinks and seasonal cocktails. Pleasant service. Great music. Usually very busy with lineups around the corner but I find it worth the wait. Good place to bring dates. There's a Snakes and Ladders board in the menu and you can ask for pieces.“

“Le milky way est un magnifique endroit avec une bonne ambiance pour terminer une soirée entre amis. J’ai commander le drink Preach’s peach pour sa composition et le magnifique verre annoncé sur le menu (flamingo). Malheureusement, le drink n’a pas été servi dans le verre tant attendu. Dans ce genre d’endroit, la présentation fait toute la différence pour justifier un cocktail à 25$. J’aurais apprécier qu’on me renseigne que le verre n’était pas disponible ce soir-là. J’aurais probablement opter vers un autre cocktail à un prix plus modeste. Ceci dit, le goût était bon. Nous ne recommandons pas les spritz sans alcool qui sont à notre goût fade et simplement amer. Un ajout de sirop simple pourrait probablement balancer l’amerture de ce drink qui est normalement délicieux avec du mousseux, bien entendu. Pour terminer, le cocktail bleu dont je ne me souvient plus le nom était le highlight de la soirée. Je retournerais au MilkyWay pour retenter l’expérience :) Au plaisir,“

“Place magnifique, autant la salle intérieure que la terrasse. Belle carte, pour tous les goûts! Je regrette cependant qu'à peine avoir payé la facture, on nous ai demandé de quitter car il y avait un soi-disant line up (inexistant), et d'autres tables libres autour de nous. Un peu rude, surtout pour une table à 200$ (à 2).“

“A near by server whispered in my ear of this Speakeasy, I was intrigued and gave in to my inquisitive desire. It was dark and I was alone in a strange city. The music filled the room with great style and the skills of the bartenders were amazing. The bartenders have a wide range of tequilas and mescals which they mix or serve individually with great knowledge and flair. This was a big highlight of my visit. Thanks“

“Described by many as grimy and sweaty but always in a good way! Good place to go if you want to just see live music but don’t care about how good it is. Definitely will have music and that is a guarantee. One time they got mad at me because I played with the dj set but to be fair the dj literally let me so I don’t really understand what the problem is also I didn’t like break it or anything idk maybe they just hate to see women succeed but not to fear guys! My friend said he’d let me play with his dj set so you may be seeing me very soon as montreals new hit dj! This city definitely need more of those!!“

“Super Nice place! The atmosphere is really pleasant and the shows are delicious to watch. The price of the meals is still high (2 X meals + 2 X beer + 1 X Virgin Ceasar) total cost of $400). The waiters/waitresses number 1, we are well received but the table service makes us wait after ordering, whether for the meal or simply a drink.“

“We booked Bar à Flot for an evening with our friends and family, and it was a success! The service was perfect (a special thank you to Simone and Arthur for the evening as well as to Gabrielle for the organization)?The food was delicious; seasonal vegetables, burrata, salad, tartare, paella. Nice selection of wines for all budgets.

“Fabulous spot. The menu looks deceptively simple, but dont be fooled. Dishes are designed to be shared - our favourite type of meal. Each dish is beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients and careful thought to flavour combinations. We had the ceviche, beet salad and the beef with chimichurri sauce, and then the banoffee pie for dessert. We loved them all. We’re still dreaming of that ceviche! In retrospect, probably would have had the rhubarb tart for desert instead, but we enjoyed the banoffee too.
Service is excellent, just the right amount of advice, attention and casual interaction. Love the no tipping policy too! Certainly didn’t impact the level of service :)
The atmosphere is casual and easy. Many came in just to have the burgers - I’m guessing they are fantastic too. Maybe next time!
One other note - Google AI told me that reservations are not taken. This is not the case, we reserved a few weeks ahead. It was for a Saturday night - not sure if that is an exception, but worth noting.“

We started with the takoyaki, and it was absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with just the right amount of tender octopus. The flavor was rich and well-balanced, making it one of the best takoyaki dishes I’ve had.
The sushi was equally impressive, fresh, and expertly prepared, but it was the overall experience — the service, the food, and the design — that made it truly memorable. I’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“It deserves a 5 stars but I only gave 4 due to the fact that when you use the tip % suggestions at the payment terminal, it applies the % on the amount after tax, which is illegal in Québec since may 2025. I called the day after and left a message to the person responsible for the restaurants at the Ritz but never got a call-back. While it is no big deal, it is a bit disappointing that such a prestigious institution would not comply with the law. Update: Someone did call me after my review and explained the technical glitch that they experienced for a short period and that it was solved.“
