“There used to be a pho place in Toronto that I loved until it closed down 7 years ago. Since then, I could not find a pho place that I liked... until today. You can really taste the care Mama Mai puts into its dishes. The pho broth is very clear, and flavorful, without being too salty. Their fish sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and sour, with pickled cabbage and carrots in side it for an extra special touch. Their coconut coffee is a delicious refreshing treat, with a perfect balance of creaminess to that signature strong viet coffee. I am happy to add Mama Mai to my regular rotation of restaurants when ever I visit Ottawa.“

“Holy Moly!!! One of the unfortunate details of growing old, is remembering how good things used to be. Eating out nowadays, I almost always feel jipped... I rarely eat out anymore except for Swiss Chalet and occasionally Harvey's. My daughter offered to pick me up a sub after her shift today. I got the Captain's Club and let me tell you, this Captain runs a tight ship! This sandwich was created with pride and very generously heaped high. Everything was very fresh and I could have not wanted a little more of this or that!! Every bite was as good as the first. Loved the fine shredded lettuce.! I will become a very regular customer as long as you can reasonably continue the quality. Tip of the hat to all the staff and management!!!“

“Frequent visitor of this location and I'm always impressed with the staff. The manager clearly leads by example. They are so efficient and quick at getting customers their orders. The food is always fantastic, too.

At one point a few months ago, my girlfriend forgot her phone in Subway at closing time and the staff carefully put it away for us to pick up in the morning.

We visited at lunch today July 10th. The line moved efficiently but not rushed and hurried. I appreciated the efficiency but also the extra few seconds of attention to sandwiches. It made a difference. When we sat down to enjoy our sandwiches, I was taken aback at how perfect it was. My only complaint is that there is no automatic door opening button which makes things difficult for me because of my Mobility issues. I believe her name was Lynn served me, she was super friendly and helpful. What a difference it makes being able to go into a restaurant/ takeaway place these days and actually have a nice, friendly conversation with the employee(s).
