“I’m disabled and found it easy to walk into the place. It wasn’t overly crowded but had enough people to make it feel very lively! I started with the tortilla soup, then had the fish tacos and to drink I tried the strawberry Jarritos and a sip of their margarita which I’d have again on a warm day ☀️ Everything was delicious, the staff was patient and courteous. I felt very comfortable and I’m already planning my next visit for the springtime!“

“Their food is delicious! And they have horchata which is so good. But the best part is that they have a grocery part with products that are kind of hard to find unless you live near those latino grocery stores in Montreal. Authentic and Mexican. Absolute must try!!Seriously though, the horchata is crazy delicious.“

“Really great Mexican restaurant, was one of my favorite so far, big portions and great food. The shrimps tacos were really fresh, the pizzadilla was loaded with meat and was nice and crispy, they serve it with lots of sauces on the side and service was great, will definitely come back to grab another bite!“

Fast service, perhaps a little too much because we don't always have time to savor and finish the starter or a dish to share before the rest arrives.Not many vegetarian options but possibility to adjust the dishes.Basically a relaxed atmosphere and we have a good time“

“10/10! So much fun!!! The carne molcajete was amazing, the drinks were incredible and the service was impecable. The restaurant is very beautiful as well. I would recommend this experience to anyone! I highly recommend the mezcal drinks as well as the horchata carajillo (it’s the perfect dessert)“

“REAL Mexican food, delicious and authentic. When I went through the door I felt the scent of a home made meal, took me back to my childhood at grandma’s house in Michoacán. My food was cooked at the moment and it was on the table surprisingly fast. I ordered “enchiladas Rojas” and they were the real thing! I asked for some extra spicy salsa, they brought red and green salsas, not too spicy but great taste, and the salsa macha is almost better than my mom’s. I’m going back with my kids to try the carnitas 🤤“

“Good food and good staff . Came to La Cantina with my coworkers for almost 10 days in a row . Sopa Azteca and Tacos Al Pastor were my favourites . You should definitely visit at least once La Cantina :) Buen Provecho !!!“
“This place is amazing. We were taken care of from the time we booked our reservation for 11 to changing the amount of people (quite a few times). We were treated as though we were friends & family. We were seated quickly, able to order drinks immediately while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. Our waitress was so patient with us as well as so much fun. We were served our food quickly and it was delicious. Some of us even ventured in trying the brown (hot) sauce. The owner also came over to our table and gave us a round of tequila shots, delicious. These shots are one of their own recipes, we recommend you try it. We really enjoyed their margaritas, also a special recipe. We will definitely be back.“

Me and 2 friends got the birria tacos, queso birria tacos and the al pastor tacos along with some drinks. The rice as a side was a good addition to, so I highly recommend choosing that as a side. “The food is absolutely delicious! I would say the only negative about this place is the service. I came in when there was nobody else and the 2 staff members didn’t acknowledge me as I waited. I could tell they were filling up the food bins and didn’t mind waiting. A simple, “be with you soon” would have been great. Instead they ignored me until they were done. Other than that, amazing place and will definitely be back again!“

“Oh my God, what a magnificent discovery!!!!! I loved the family atmosphere of this little Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent. The server was friendly. I have only one negative comment, when we taste our soup, wait until we finish it, until we serve it before serving us our main meal! This is the 2nd Mexican restaurant that has done this to me, and it always gives me the impression that they are in a hurry to see us leave. When we go to a restaurant, it's to relax and take our time. Otherwise I recommend 100% and I can't wait to go back!!!

“Hace una semana fui con unos amigos que vinieron de visita desde Sherbrooke, la atención de las chicas es maravilloso, pero hay una persona LGBT, alto, delgado y de lentes que tiene una prepotencia para atender, inició una de las chicas atendiéndonos y necesitaba una servilleta, el chico estaba cerca y cuando se la pedí me volteo a ver feo y me contestó muy prepotente como si mi dinero no valiera ahí, luego le pedí una cerveza y nunca me llegó y me la quisieron agregar a la cuenta, y cuando le comenté a la chica, el chico se acercó y me preguntó muy grosero si siempre si iba a querer la cerveza o ya no, después de esperarlo por 20 minutos, no es la primera vez que voy, la verdad el servicio de todos es maravilloso, pero la de el no, no sé si porque yo también sea gay el se siente con el derecho de tratarme así o quien sabe, pero si deberían supervisar el trato al cliente de sus colaboradores, de ahí solo me queda agradecer por la comida que es muy rica 🫶🏽✨“

“Très bon sans réservation, ils nous ont accueilli avec le sourire. Les fajitas poulet/crevettes délicieux, belle portion. Le riz mexicain super bon. Le tout très bien épicé sans être piquant😍 Breuvage alcoolisé beaucoup de choix, moi j’ai choisi la marguaritas réguliere en slush 😋 et la Sangria Azul 👍👍 À refaire sans hésitation car beaucoup de choix sur le menu. Bravo!“
