“The menu has a great variety of traditional dishes. I ordered the Phở đặc biệt (Special Beef Noodle Soup), and it was one of the best I’ve had outside of Vietnam. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with beautiful Vietnamese-inspired decor. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes for first-time visitors.

“Pleasantly surprised. As mentioned in other reviews prices are extremely hard to beat. For those with electric vehicles down the street below St Catherine's there are 4 level 2 chargers so you can charge your car while enjoying this restaurant for 1 dollar an hour charge rate. Hostess and staff are friendly. Lots of students here but I cannot blame them because the price is the best bang for the buck. I took an extra large number 5 with one imperial roll. Next time I will take 2 rolls as they were very good. All prices on the menu are tax in. So basically cheaper than the other Vietnamese restaurants I've reviewed. Now that I've read other reviews of this restaurant and have been I'd tm rather come here than the other locations I've reviewed in Brossard.“

“Came here twice, best restaurant I've had in town. Service is great, food is fast served and hot, and it is a nice quiet place. Definitely 5 stars. I added two photos to show the consistency of the meals. One was a poké bowl from August and one was from December.“

“This is a really good value for a sandwich. Is it the best you'll ever have? No. But for the money you get a decent sandwich with good quality meat and vegetables. And it tastes good. It's my go-to spot when I'm in this part of town.“

“The service was amazing. The staff were really kind and explained the menu to us. The Pho and the bahn mi were all really delicious. The star of the show was the Vietnamese Coffee. We had two at dinner and came back the next day for more coffee to go, it was amazing! Highly recommend this place“

“I stumbled upon this place on a weekend getaway with my husband. The bahn mi is so good that my husband and I picked up the grilled chicken and the classic ham bahn mi on friday night for supper and we went back again on Sunday for lunch before heading home. The bread is super fresh, delicious classic ingredients. So good. Would totally recommend and I will definitly be back. Service was quick, courteous and friendly.“

“If you want to have a basic meal in the center of Montreal, go to this place. It's located inside a big building at a food court with few other vendors, so you will get some choice. The meals are quite basic, pho soup is not as sophisticated as in other restaurants, but it's a good budget place to eat when you are touring Montreal. Walk around, there is a beautiful passage with a glass roof and a fountain, also some shops.

“I ordered a beef pho - it didn’t taste exactly like most pho I’ve had from other places and the noodles were quite short, but for its price the portion size isn’t bad at all and it was delicious anyway. The menu seems like it has good variety too.
The atmosphere isn’t entirely there because it’s literally a student cafeteria - there isn’t much atmosphere to be had.
Overall, I’d go back sometime, sure.“

“Family-owned restaurant, right in the heart of Chinatown. We've been eating their pho for years now and it's still excellent (especially their grilled chicken pho).
Although the place looks kinda old, the service makes up in niceness and efficiency. You'll be in for a good meal for a very reasonable price. Recommended!“

“Pho Anh Vu is located in the heart of downtown Montreal across of the AMC, it’s the perfect spot to experience the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. This new restaurant opened 6 months ago offers delicious dishes and Pho soupes that hits the spot during those upcoming cold days. It is a very beautiful place nicely decorated and clean that is inviting.

“Ate here alone lately, maybe a week or two ago. It wasn't my first time eating here but it had been a while so I decided to try it again. You have to enter the back of the building, and the menu is outside as well as inside so if you are not satisfied with the prices you don't have to awkwardly leave the restaurant, perfect for the social anxious. not that it would be much of a problem, the prices are great for what you are getting!! upon entering I was greeted by a sweet old lady and she was very accommodating when I asked to to be seated further away because where she wanted to make me sit it was too cramped. she served me a glass of ice water and even put the jug right next to me! the wait was long maybe 15 to 30 mins for the meal with no Wifi but its definitely worth it! The portions are great and the food oh so delicious!! so delicious it made me like the (surprise!) mushrooms in my stir fry when I usually hate mushrooms.? it was chicken that melts in your mouth, delicious veggies that imbibed with the sweet and sour sauce, served with a side of vermicelli and a weird crunchy fried rice thing i forgot the name. The guy was a bit cold but he wasn't straight up rude, maybe he was just shy like me.??♀️ Anyways upon paying he didn't try to sneakily slip an overcharge of a few extra dollars like some other family owned restaurants tried in the past with me like that pizza place one time. I calculated everything in front of the menu at the entrance and it was exactly what he charged me, very convenient and right. I gave them 5$ tips on my 20$ meal plus 1,30$ on the Buddha for good luck ?. anyways this review is getting long but all that said I would DEFINATELY recommend!!? ?“

“Nous sommes entrés par concours de circonstances et avons choisis 70 mcx mix. Wow! Tout fut fait là sur le moment (Fraîcheur A1). Avant de quitter (notre choix pour emporter), la propriétaire (staff famille) nous a indiqué l'ordre idéal pour consommer notre destin. “Super good, fresh, reasonably priced. The only thing less liked is the use of polystyrene containers for certain items. Other containers were reusable and good for the microwave. I would be willing to pay extra for everything to be reusable.“
