“Once again I did not come away disappointed. On the contrary, this experience that I received in this lunch place just reinforced my positive idea that I had for this franchise. Their dish was of the same quality. This to say excellent. The service was good although the waitress who served us unfortunately seemed more in a bad mood than anything else but I didn't let her ruin my time there definitely will go back.“

“Met a close friend for breakfast there. The service was excellent. My friend had a breakfast that was comprised of toast, half a waffle, eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. She loved it. I had two poached eggs and toast with a delicious yogurt granola, and fruit parfait. It was so good that I could have eaten a second one (I didn't!).
The coffee was free flowing and so good. We were pleasantly surprised because some breakfast places have bitter coffee.
It was a wonderful experience and I would go back there for breakfast again.“

“This is my all time favourite breakfast spot, the potatoes are the best morning potatoes in my opinion crispy and well seasoned. They have an extensive menu, so much options to choose from, something for everyone! The staff is always very nice and the owner is so sweet. Service can sometimes be slow but thst inky because the place gets sooooo busy!“

The wait is barely noticable, the food is always well cooked and delicious, the portions are very generous for the price and it is totally affortable. Boy was i in for a treat, the second you walk in the door all the staff greet you with a smile. The decor and vibes of the restaurant are near unmatched for a breakfast spot. Elle a fait des petites attentions appréciée et qui selon nous devrait être un automastime en tant que serveur ou serveuse. Par exemple, elle n'a pas passer la carafe de café au dessus de notre fille, nous a donner son assiette avant la notre pour que son repas ne soit pas trop chaud, m'a donner l'assiette chaude pour que je coupe sa nourriture et qu'elle n'ait pas une assiette chaude pour se brûler devant elle. “I have been going to Cafe Souvenir for decades. It has always been consistently great even when the ownership changed a few times. While the former concept was fantastic with the passport menu and more choices than you could ever try, I love this current ownership and iteration of the cafe and menu. It’s owner run, so they know what they’re doing and the attention to detail is there. Warm milk with your coffee, omelettes brought straight from the pan, to name a few details I appreciate. They know how to cook; French from France style. So many restaurants in Montreal have gone up in price and down in value. Not Cafe Souvenir! They are doing it well and I highly recommend them. Great, friendly service. One of my regular brunch places.“
