“A "real" place, with real people, in a way that has somehow went out of atyle with chain restaurants, but never should have.
They don't make 'em like this anymore and they are a rare find; a real authentic diner where the staff works their posterior off for you, and you can see it, right in front of you, in a floor, thats worn thin of year upon years of sucessfull service.

“In the continuation of my ambitious quest to try every reputed breakfast spot in Montreal – I come to Bagels ETC in the Plateau.
This restaurant is open later than other brunch restaurants which is great for the late-risers. Lineups don’t seem as bad here. The prices are alright. Food was generally good, some items better than others. The service deserves major credit, they are very friendly and personable. I complimented their stylish menu and the server introduced me to the guy that designed it so I could praise his work which was a warm gesture. The décor is definitely interesting, the large golden egg was what really got my attention. Quirky place that may not have top tier food but thoroughly checks off all the other boxes.“

“SUPER wow! Again. It's starting out very well. Great discovery 2nd visit. Lunch on the terrace, excellent service, super friendly owners. Extra 5 star lunch to see photos everything is excellent homemade except the joke eggs. It's worth the detour. Well done !!! The menu photo of the Gros Gluton. I will come back a 3rd and 4th time. The dishes are very good and the coffee too ☕️ The owners really take care of their customers and hire employees who provide a warm environment.
