“I arrived on a Sunday at 11:30 AM, which is typically a busy period. Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, we were seated very promptly. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with goat cheese and spinach, which was a substantial portion. Overall, the experience was excellent, though the decor could benefit from modernization. The value for money provided was exceptional.“

“I had the s'more hot chocolate and it was very good for around 5$, I also had the bacon sausage and cheese egg Benedict which was excellent. It comes with plenty of potatoes. It was very busy therefore the waitress forgot about us a few times. Total was 29$ (not including tip).“

“Great place for brunch, portions are reasonable. Personally I prefer the atmosphere before the renovations, but the new atmosphere isn’t bad. It just feels very corporate-ish, not as cozy as it used to be. Service is slightly slow, especially for drink refills (you can see in the picture that our glasses are all empty except one). Menu is a bit too large and daunting.
Food itself is good, benedict is undeniably still their best. I find their skillets a bit underwhelming.“

So much choice, ample portions and well priced. Will be a tough decision to go anywhere else in the city for breakfast.

“Nothing short of amazing. I love Magdalen islands and this place is such a nice small montreal recreation of the vibe and ambiance of the island. The menu is chock full of wonderful options but what really drew me here is their lobster festival. I will always say yes to a lobster roll. The plate comes with a lobster bisque and a dessert! Service was fast and friendly, food was fresh and abundant, lobster was well seasoned and the bisque was tasty. I can’t complain! Would visit again.“

Came here for brunch with my friends and we loved the trendy style/ambiance of the place.

We each ordered a specialty platter, where they ranged anywhere from $15 to $23. I personally got the Mont Royal, which I'd highly recommend.

It was a very flavorful omelette packed with meat and peppers, and it was great with the home fries and bread. Despite the bagels being from Fairmont, they were pretty disappointing. Get the challah! Side note, the french toast was DELICIOUS.

The service was also great! The waitress noticed I had an empty water bottle from outside and offered to refill it. I was very impressed since I've never been asked that before lol. However, it took quite a while to get the bill because the restaurant was so busy.

Despite the restaurant's name, if you skip the bagel, I'd highly recommend getting brunch here!“

Pulled up to L’Oeufrier with 8 hungry humans and left with full bellies and zero regrets. The staff deserve a standing ovation they handled our chaos like seasoned brunch warriors. Fast, friendly, and somehow remembered all our weird orders (extra crispy bacon, no onions, add love).

The vibe? Chef’s kiss. Cozy, colorful, and full of good energy like a warm hug with maple syrup. The food was outrageous in the best way: huge portions, bold flavors, and enough options to keep even the pickiest friend quiet.

L’Oeufrier, you fed us well and treated us even better. We’ll be back… probably with more friends next time. 💛🍳“

“Visited Cafe Souvenir on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fantastic experience.

The restaurant itself is cozy, which provides for a very pleasant, intimate atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. There is also a terrace that opens onto a pedestrian-only street in the summer months. While I sat inside, the terrace would be a great option for many.

I tried the fish, french fries, beer, coffee, and dessert (I was hungry). It was all very well prepared. I'd definitely recommend everything I tried.

Cette pauvre enfant semble éprise d’une sérieuse neurasthénie pathologique qui, selon moi, mérite une impérieuse attention (médicale ou autre). Malgré mon invitation à ce qu’elle arbore un sourire professionnellement cordial, au risque de nuire à une quelconque gerçure et à compromettre son regard de vaches qui regardent passer des trains, son comportement rédhibitoire s’est ajouté à sa triste prestation. En tant qu’ex-professionnel dans l’industrie hôtelière de luxe, en y songeant bien, cette employée ne mériterait même pas la plonge, mais plutôt la porte. Mais bon, il y a des employeurs qui aiment peut-être ça! Pas moi. Dommage pour les autres formidables employé-e-s de l’établissement; c’est une tache sur une toile blanche.“
