“The food and service are quick and efficient. You don't have to wait long till a server comes to your table. Their selection of breakfast and lunch items are all amazing. The coffee refills are amazing and my favorite food here is their Egg combos.
I do wish this place was closer to Brossard, even though there is already one there.“

“It's certainly one of the most interesting brunch spots I've ever been! I hadn't checked the vibe or environment beforehand, just checked the menu and saw the ratings.
Went there on a Sunday, busy enough to need to put our name and come back 30 minutes later. When entered, immediately shocked by the contrast between how busy and apparently famous it is, and how...cheap...the interior is? Let's just say the environment don't keep up with how GREAT the food was! Truly interesting menu and flavorful meals.
We tried forest (don't remember the exact name) and the fried chicken salad (again, don't remember the exact name). Both were amazing. Just keep in mind that the fried chicken salad is somewhat sweet because of the honey sauce, but still worth the try.
TL;DR: Was I somewhat shocked by the cheap seats? Yes. Will I ever come back? Yes, at least two more times.“

“This is a great little diner-style establishment. My partner and I really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious, especially their baked beans and fried potatoes, and portions were very generous. All their plates come with filtered coffee, beans, fruit, cretons and potatoes. Excellent value for the price! Staff was also very kind and efficient. We'll definitely be coming back.“

“Bagel etc truely deserves a 5 star review. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff and had the pleasure of eating an amazing breakfast in a lovely atmosphere! “We went for my mom’s 95th birthday and they took care of her like a queen. I have been here several times and never disappointed with the food. Price and portion very good. It has a home style feeling. Good coffee not watered down like some breakfast places. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in Montreal. We found it on a trip here a year ago and came back twice this trip. We have had brunch twice and dinner tonight and it didn't disappoint. The staff here are amazing, every visit makes us think we just had the best server ever. We have never had trouble getting a table here even during very busy times. Do yourself a favour and visit soon and often!“

“used to like this place despite the very rude owner. ordered subs and they were disgusting. inedible. who doesn't toast or broil the bun so they don't get soggy. just wasted $$. they told me I should have asked for my bun to be well done. who does that or has heard of that?? For some reason it is showing that I recommend this resto. NOT ANY MORE.“

“I came here for Sunday breakfasts March 12th and chocolate pancakes. Never had chocolate pancakes. GREAT! And March 26th, 2022 blueberry pancakes were very good. Best was? Chocolate pancakes. Great job. 4 out of 5!“

“Dropped by the Ville Lasalle location for breakfast food and service was outstanding was served by both Fotini and Kirstie they were both OUTSTANDING recommend you drop by and if you are lucky to be served by these two you will see what I mean job WELL DONE LADIES cannot wait to go back“

“I absolutely love this place. I came with my Spanish friends that were tourist we ate on the Terasse it was so amazing. The food was so good and today I randomly was hungry and I just ordered a piña colada smoothie from there a waffle when I tell you this was amazing. It was amazing.“

“Our experience at this restaurant was amazing. The waitress that was working on tuesday 12pm in particular was kind and fast. It wasn’t crowded and the ambience was really nice. As for the food, it was good and the portions were generous. I would definitely dine here again !“

“I have been going to Cafe Souvenir for decades. It has always been consistently great even when the ownership changed a few times. While the former concept was fantastic with the passport menu and more choices than you could ever try, I love this current ownership and iteration of the cafe and menu. It’s owner run, so they know what they’re doing and the attention to detail is there. Warm milk with your coffee, omelettes brought straight from the pan, to name a few details I appreciate. They know how to cook; French from France style. So many restaurants in Montreal have gone up in price and down in value. Not Cafe Souvenir! They are doing it well and I highly recommend them. Great, friendly service. One of my regular brunch places.“
