“We were at the Brossard location. 9am Saturday, no waiting line. Nice, dynamic ambiance. Tables distribution excellent, not to close each other, places for solo, couples and groups. The attendants were very polite and well informed. Prices are competitive. They are different, with their own style. Not mass coffee serving, good quality of ingredients. Presentation of plates need improvement. I'll go back.“

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“My husband and I were visiting Montreal and enjoyed a fabulous brunch on Saturday afternoon. The ambiance looking out to the garden was beautiful. The food was all delicious with the standout being the French toast desert and a fabulous wine recommendation from the Sommelier. Highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself and don't mind spending some money on a special experience.“

“Our experience at this Michelin-star restaurant was truly memorable. The food awakened every one of our palate's senses, each dish was beautifully presented, with flavours and textures that felt like thoughtful, well-crafted stories. It made the entire culinary journey feel complete and immersive. The team was very attentive to my husband's nut and peanut allergies throughout the meal. There was one moment where a dessert containing almonds was initially presented, but they immediately corrected the plate with great care, which we appreciated. The only disappointment was that, despite noting the birthday celebration both in the reservation and over the phone, there was no acknowledgement of the occasion during our visit. Overall, the experience was absolutely worth it. The cuisine alone makes this restaurant a destination, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.“

“First visit, did not disappoint. We had the beet salad, octopus and potato’s as an entree all very delicious and flavourful. We had a scallop ceviche and duck for the main both were excellent. Try a pisco cocktail and the dulce de Leche dessert (not even heavy to finish with). Personally we couldn’t hear any music and it felt a little cold. (We went on a Tuesday).“

“This is our 2nd time at Le Cartet. The waiter has such great memory and remembers our family. He is friendly and warm. We ordered Canton, Lac Brome and Nordique. All 3 dishes are excellent but Nordique stands out the most. I love the cream cheese spread and their choice of the smoke salmon. I love their coffee as well.“

“One of my favorite hotels ever!! Right in the heart of old Montreal, and a short walk to everything that Old Montreal has to offer. It sits on a beautiful cobblestone street, and is in an old, historic building. The rooms were beautiful, with windows that open to let in some great fresh air. I loved their little breakfast, which consisted of different breads each day, spread, cheese, and some cold pressed local juice. Just a top notch experience, and affordable too!“

Our waiter, Ivan, made some excellent suggestions for our entrees which we agreed to try. The food was delicious & Ivan’s attention to our dinner made a nice ending to an already perfect day.“

ITHQ has a nice location and staff was very welcoming.

The magret de canard was what you would expect of the dish. We had turbot with couscous and strawberries, which I found a bit too sofistaced. I think that real talent shows when you can work with a limited number of ingredients.

“Such a hidden gem!! Waiter was great and the food and service was outstanding. We ended up having the Venison pot-au-feu style, which was this delicious deer with potatoes and veggies in a broth. We told the waiter that I love Pino Noir and so we ended up with a bottle of the Morgon. Will definitely come back next time we visit Montreal.“
