“A little hidden gem, friendly staff, authentic restaurant and the food is delicious. Probably the best Mexican restaurant on the South Shore.
Vegetarian options: Just asking the owner is very accommodating he made me a special mix of grilled vegetables for my tacos and even suggested I bring my own tofu next time he will season it for me and grill it a nice open of spirit!“

“I had an incredible experience at 3 Amigos! The service was excellent, the waitress was attentive, friendly and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. “I’m disabled and found it easy to walk into the place. It wasn’t overly crowded but had enough people to make it feel very lively! I started with the tortilla soup, then had the fish tacos and to drink I tried the strawberry Jarritos and a sip of their margarita which I’d have again on a warm day ☀️ Everything was delicious, the staff was patient and courteous. I felt very comfortable and I’m already planning my next visit for the springtime!“

“Sabrosa is by far the best restaurant at Place Jacques-Cartier. The location is prime, and the food was outstanding. The salads and ceviche were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the tacos were delicious as well. The service was warm, attentive, and efficient. Highly recommended!“

“THE best tacos al pastor I’ve ever had. The kind you dream of afterwards and yearn for if you don’t live closeby. Can’t order them anywhere else because no other taco shop makes them as good as Taco Trunp. The homemade salsas are also amazing. Do yourself a favour and get the al pastor, then get some extra salsa to take home. Friendly owner too. Love this place! Can’t live without it. Seriously.“

The shrimps tacos were really fresh, the pizzadilla was loaded with meat and was nice and crispy, they serve it with lots of sauces on the side and service was great, will definitely come back to grab another bite!“

“We reserved a table for 2 on a night when a Cuban band was performing. I honestly didn't realize how load it would be. My mistake. We asked to sit outside. Even though the terrasse was closed, the owner turned on the heater for us and serviced our table outside. We listened to the music through the window! Very accommodating, professional and warm ambiance.“

“Their food is delicious! And they have horchata which is so good. But the best part is that they have a grocery part with products that are kind of hard to find unless you live near those latino grocery stores in Montreal. Authentic and Mexican. Absolute must try!!Seriously though, the horchata is crazy delicious.“

“Went on a weekenight when it was very quiet and no sports event. The decor is very warm and inviting for a party nd/or a communal TV watching events with lots of screens ans projectors set up strategically. The food was okay. Portions were small considering this is more of a publike resto than I high end tapas place. The service was so-so since the waitress did not seem to have received much training at all but was very nice. I loce that there was a variety of Latin typical dishes and drinks, some wich are harder to get. I would come back for a fun special occasion with a big group of friends, or with friends who have not tried Peruvian or Colombian dishes.“

“The food is absolutely delicious! I would say the only negative about this place is the service. I came in when there was nobody else and the 2 staff members didn’t acknowledge me as I waited. I could tell they were filling up the food bins and didn’t mind waiting. A simple, “be with you soon” would have been great. Instead they ignored me until they were done. Other than that, amazing place and will definitely be back again!“

“Oh my God, what a magnificent discovery!!!!! I loved the family atmosphere of this little Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent. The server was friendly. I have only one negative comment, when we taste our soup, wait until we finish it, until we serve it before serving us our main meal! This is the 2nd Mexican restaurant that has done this to me, and it always gives me the impression that they are in a hurry to see us leave. When we go to a restaurant, it's to relax and take our time. Otherwise I recommend 100% and I can't wait to go back!!!

“I always enjoy Mexican food. Of course each place varies in quality but otherwise never disappoints. This cafe Cantina was awesome! The wait might be a little long depending on staff and if it’s very busy but it’s worth the wait for sure! My burrito was quite hefty and very good! I hope to return again soon. Friendly owner too. Works hard. ??“
