“It is a very popular spot, which doesn’t surprise me because the food was delicious. I got the pesto Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, the staff was super nice, and we got our food very fast after ordering. My only ick is where we were seated. The table is way too low compared to the bench that it made it a bit uncomfortable to eat.“

“This is a warm and charming brunch place. We love the decor all over the restaurant featuring the marine lifestyle of Ile de Madelaine. The food was very good and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had pomme chaude waffles and it really satiated my sweet tooth. We would like to come back again.“

“Returning to an old huant after almost 40 yrs. Still has its charm and and awesome menu and staff. Stopped in for a midweek brunch as we'd been in town to see a show. The plateau and main are the same and yet different than I remember.
Bagel Ect, still a gem! They served up one of the best brunches we've had in Montreal. I ordered the classic Benedictine Eggs Benedict—perfectly poached eggs, rich and velvety hollandaise, all on a fresh, fluffy base. My partner had the Romanov, a version with lox, which was equally delicious—the smoked salmon was silky and flavorful without overpowering the dish. A special shoutout to their sautéed potatoes—crispy, well-seasoned, and the ideal companion to our meals. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and food done right. Forgot to mention, thier latte are perfect...Highly recommended!“

Their dish was of the same quality. This to say excellent. The service was good although the waitress who served us unfortunately seemed more in a bad mood than anything else but I didn't let her ruin my time there definitely will go back.“

“My first experience with a French breakfast. The manager was very helpful in helping us decide what to order, the recommendations were on par and the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. “Went there on Friday, November 8th at about 8:45 in the morning and had Greek yogurt fruit bowl. Wildly huge portions! Fruit was very fresh, poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Staff provides excellent service and is always on top of refilling coffee and water. Highly recommend!“

“Un petit déjeuner en famille avec un excellent service par Tina. Belle courtoisie, advenante, souriante, conscienceuse face à la réalité d'un jeune enfant. Elle a fait des petites attentions appréciée et qui selon nous devrait être un automastime en tant que serveur ou serveuse. Par exemple, elle n'a pas passer la carafe de café au dessus de notre fille, nous a donner son assiette avant la notre pour que son repas ne soit pas trop chaud, m'a donner l'assiette chaude pour que je coupe sa nourriture et qu'elle n'ait pas une assiette chaude pour se brûler devant elle. “I have been going to Cafe Souvenir for decades. It has always been consistently great even when the ownership changed a few times. While the former concept was fantastic with the passport menu and more choices than you could ever try, I love this current ownership and iteration of the cafe and menu. It’s owner run, so they know what they’re doing and the attention to detail is there. Warm milk with your coffee, omelettes brought straight from the pan, to name a few details I appreciate. They know how to cook; French from France style. So many restaurants in Montreal have gone up in price and down in value. Not Cafe Souvenir! They are doing it well and I highly recommend them. Great, friendly service. One of my regular brunch places.“

“I just went to Cora good amount off for for the price. I enjoyed the Food I had a Halloumi-chorizo sausage Skillet they only thing i could say wrong is they used a Dried Chirizo sausage for the Skillet. Like dried Landjager sausage which should not be used for this. But it was still filling and tasty love the Potatoes wedge and Hollandiase sauce“

“Définitivement les meilleures gauffres en ville. Croustillantes et dorées à souhait. J'adore les oeufs bénedictine au saumon fumé. Le personnel est souriant et acceuillant. Je vais revenir. “This is my all time favourite breakfast spot, the potatoes are the best morning potatoes in my opinion crispy and well seasoned. They have an extensive menu, so much options to choose from, something for everyone! The staff is always very nice and the owner is so sweet. Service can sometimes be slow but thst inky because the place gets sooooo busy!“

“Ce matin nous avons visité Ben & Florentine (Candiac) pour la première fois depuis le 30 août 2020 (nous y allons normalement plusieurs fois par mois 😉 ). Ce matin, c'était comme revoir sa famille après plusieurs longs mois. Nous avons tout de suite ressentit la même ambiance qui nous plait tant. Nous avons été très heureux de revoir notre serveuse préférée, Julie. Julie, nous te remercions pour contribuer à ce que chacune de nos visites soient plus que parfaite. Tu nous impressionnes à chaque fois et avec le temps, nous en sommes venu à te considérer comme une vraie amie. Nous adorons échanger avec toi de ce qui se passe dans nos vies respectives ;) Merci pour tout ! À noter aussi que tous les membres de l'équipe de Candiac sont exceptionnel et le menu est exquis ! Ce matin, notre fils a renversé son smoothie partout sur la banquette et le plancher. Les employés se sont mobilisés pour nous aider à ramasser et tout était propre en moins de 2 ! De plus, ils se sont empressés de refaire un nouveau smoothie à notre fils, sans qu'on demande rien. Ben & Florentine Candiac est de LOIN notre restaurant favoris. On se revoit très bientôt et surtout, SOUVENT ! Merci ! Mélissa, Sébastien et Gabriel 😊“
