“Visited this spot on October 2025 — Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly management despite a rough first impression at the counter.

Food: The sandwiches and fries were delicious, with generous portions — definitely worth it!

Service: Unfortunately, the “younger” cashier / barista seemed quite rude and uninterested. When we asked about our missing fries halfway through the meal, he simply said “I know,” which felt dismissive. Luckily, what seemed to be the manager was much friendlier and welcoming — smiling, attentive, and much easier to approach.

Atmosphere: Cozy and pleasant vibe, although there aren’t many tables — more bar-style seating. Still, a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a good lunch.

Overall, despite the initial service hiccup, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back!“

“After having visited Italy, and tasting the best sandwiches in the world (in my opinion) coming back to Montreal, I have been looking for this exact sandwich ever since. Finally, Ciccio's delivers the real deal. I had the Primo AND the Muffuletta. The Muffuletta blew my mind. It transported me right back to Florence Italy. I had half of each and brought home the uneaten halves for my daughter. it was a most challenging task to get home without eating everything;-)“

“This is so far the best sandwiches’ place in the Mile-end. For the moment you entered at La Baguette Parisienne, Ricardo invited you at his place for an excellent service. I brought my biggest critics with me, my pre-teenage nieces; the verdict 10/10 for the best sandwich (shiny sesame chicken) they had in a long time and 10/10 for truffles and fries. Well they were right cause they enjoyed my truffles and fries.

If you like to go to a family place, great service and great sandwiches, do not miss to go at La Baguette Parisienne.“

“So good one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken is so well seasoned and well cooked. Nothing about it was dry. It wasn't too moist either, the sauces get perfectly absorbed into the bread. It isn't too messy even though it has slaw in it. Really delicious would definitely come back.

“Orderd my sub online and when I got in the employee told me he had received a few orders and it wouldn't be long. I sat down and waited. The young man asked me how my day was and I was taken aback. I'm not used to the employees asking me that. After a few minutes of polite conversation I thanked him and left. That little interaction has made me want to make this my go to subway now. “Two lovely ladies served us yesterday Aug4/2021- Wednesday around supper time. They were so attentive and polite. A nice big smile to say goodbye. Very attentive. The experience with the customer service would make me want to go back. Aubway is great , but the customer experience is just as important!!“

“This is my go-to subway spot and I never had any problems with it. Staff are always super nice and patient and my sandwich is always delicious! However, I do wish their soup were available more tho. Every time I go (no matter how early or late in the day), there is usually no soup available which is disappointing. Overall, I really like this location!“

“I had an amazing experience at the Subway on 3 Rue Sainte-Catherine Est! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made sure my sandwich was exactly how I wanted it. “Neat little place near the metro and especially near the businesses around there. I guess any of the office lads who want a quick sandwich can get it from there easier. Honestly, the chap running the chap has been nice to the majority of the students going there for lunch, including me for the past couple of years or more. Unlike Alexis Nihon's one, the place over Westmount Square is quite calm and offers more places to sit since there isn't as many people there.One reason why to chose this place over it's better places mall counterpart would be for student rebate and free drink refills.“

“This Subway recently reopened after renovation under new ownership, and the difference is noticeable! The place looks very clean, modern, and well organized. The seating area feels fresh and comfortable.

The new owner seems to be doing a great job. The staff are friendly, polite, and provide quick service. My sandwich was made perfectly with fresh ingredients and good portion size.

“I was at the car wash next door and I decided to grab a combo from this place while I waited for my car to be washed. The service was impeccable by Kayla. She was working all alone and had a line of 6 people and she handled it like a champion and always polite and a beautiful smile on her face. The food was fresh and honestly delicious. I recommend this place to everyone and Kayla should get a raise“

My boyfriend and I went yesterday night and unfortunately witnessed the only employee getting berated, insulted and verbally harassed by an older woman claiming to be a regular client (this seems like a regular incident) Anyway the employee did an awesome job of dealing with the client, though the client honesty deserves to be banned from the store. Management should do something about this, employees deserve better.“
