I recently had the pleasure of dining at Harvey’s, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. I especially loved their signature burgers — cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings. The fries were crispy, and their selection of drinks was great too.

The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

“We come to this Harvey's regularly and the food is always good, as is the customer service. My kids also get their school lunches from this location through a program offered by the school. This week, I forgot to place my order and called the restaurant to ask if I could order with them directly and have it added to the school delivery. A lovely lady on the phone talked me through how to order it on the app and then how to let them know to add it to the delivery. I was pleased with the result (my kids love their Harvey's lunches and look forward to them all week). Not half an hour later, the store manager calls me back directly himself and says that he would like to comp me personally for the meal as a thank you for our business. I was floored! I insisted that it wasn't necessary since missing the order deadline was my mistake and I didn't want him to be out of pocket for the order and for my mistake. He insisted that he wanted to do this for me and proceeded to take my order and assure me not to worry, that the school lunches will be there will the rest of the school order. I am floored and so grateful. You don't see this kind of customer service so much anymore in Canada these days. This Harvey's will always have my business! Thank you. You made a busy mom's busy day really special.“

“This is primarily a burger bar. Lots of burger selections and sides like fries, rings and salads. They have a multi-game video game and a pinball. Lots of cool atmosphere with high ceilings. Service was fantastic. Lots of free parking. Recommended.“

“We made the trip from Toronto to Gatineau and stopped at La Pataterie Hulloise on the subreddit recommendation.

I’m from Quebec originally and have had a lot of poutine in my life, never had one with fries that so perfectly melt in your mouth. From the pics I’d seen I was concerned the sauce was very dark but it was not overpowering.

Staff were super friendly and generous portion for the money.

Location: right on Greber (a main street), easy to find and easy to access the parking lot and front entrance.

Parking: a decent sized parking lot in front with plenty of parking for the size of the restaurant.

Accessibility: it’s accessible by wheelchair and the washrooms are also wheelchair accessible.

Ambience / aesthetic: it’s a typical diner. It’s clean and in reasonable shape, but there are no frills. The restaurant is clearly delivering food, not an experience.

Service: the staff are very friendly, and very relaxed. Almost too relaxed, if I may be honest. I get the sense that the restaurant mostly caters to local regular customers. There’s no host/hostess to meet you at the door, and you’re expected to seat yourself, even though there’s no sign stating that. When I was there at 13h00 on a Thursday, they were not at all busy, but the servers only came around every 20-25 minutes, which I don’t consider very much. I want to clarify, the staff are kind, but the establishment feels very laissez-faire.

Drink: I had coffee and it was fine.

Food: I had the “Greber Poutine” and it came with lots of meat and lots of gravy. It was decent and the price was very reasonable.

Washroom: there are single stall male and female washrooms with baby change tables available. The male washroom was relatively clean and everything was functional.“

They’ve gotten so used to seeing me that some of them have started pouring the water before I even reach the counter which is very convenient for me since I need to get back to work quickly.
