“I’m sitting outside right now writing this, after stuffing my face with plenty of leftovers for later. I’ve tried a few oxtail places in Montreal but never found that « melt off the bone » experience until I came here. I don’t think I’d trust any other Caribbean spot to serve me again 🤯❤️. Service was quick, the plates were massive and I am so full. 12/10 I’ll definitely be back! Thank you!“

“This restaurant feels like a true Jamaican home from the vibes to the people who work there. The love is in the food, the taste, the flavour, and the service. It’s more than just a meal, it feels like family, like community. And the prices are so reasonable. A place I will never stop coming too“

“We were craving Jamaican food, looked for a well-rated restaurant on Google Maps and ended up at Faybee's. Faybee's Restaurant offers Caribbean cuisine and has many Jamaican dishes on the menu. One of the cooks is Jamaican.
We had the jerk chicken, which was one of the best we have eaten outside of Jamaica. It is grilled over charcoal, which brings the typical taste. Well seasoned but not too spicy. The sauce is served separately, with extra spice added. You can adjust the sharpness yourself, which we found very good. There are also rice and peas and fried plantain.
The portion is generous with the included small salad. We also had festivals that were similar to those we know from Jamaica. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.
Faybee's Restaurant is more of a snack bar in size. There are 2 tables for 4 people each and 3 seats on bar stools by the window. In summer you can also sit outside. The decoration is like a diner in Jamaica. A lot of it is take away, so there is a lot of coming and going, but it's fun to watch. Faybee's Restaurant has many regular customers.
We received a very hospitable welcome and service and had an overall pleasant and enjoyable experience at Faybee's Restaurant in Montreal.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are also offered.
Parking: We came by bus, which stops almost in front of the door.“

“Absolutely awesome vibe, and the food was quite literally perfect!
I was initially slightly concerned by the packaging for the takeout, but oh boy, was I ever impressed by the quality, taste, and freshness of the food!
This place is an absolute gem. Definitely worth checking out!“

“This is some amazing authentic rotis, super delicous, well cooked. Lots of curry deliciousness. I'd recommend the goat. It's heavy on the sauce so I ate it with a nice bowl of rice, not sure if they have rice but I ate it at home with rice and it was soooo good. Great spot for take out!“

“As a regular customer of Caribbean Paradise and the person responsible for the child involved, I would like to sincerely apologize to the Caribbean Paradise restaurant and its owners.
I believe the situation has been blown out of proportion. While there was an incident, it was unnecessarily amplified.
Caribbean Paradise has been a cornerstone of the community for years—consistently giving back by hosting free Christmas parties with toy giveaways and generously offering their venue at no cost for various community events and functions.
Please don’t let this incident affect your support for this valued and community-focused restaurant.
Sincerely ,

“Had chicken rotis from Greenz and they are absolutely incredible - best we’ve ever had. Spicing was tremendous with its own personality. Chicken was super tender and the stew was creamy. I’ll be heading back for seconds. Recommended 200%!“

“Super friendly place, particularly the guy running it. It's been years since I had a roti, and this place makes a really good one. Definitely worth trying out if you're in the mood for some Caribbean food. I'll be going back to get some jerk chicken and to try the fish cakes.“

“I love this place I've been going here since I was a kid. I wish they did delivery though like uber skip or Doordarsh as with work hours it's very difficult to be able to stop in since they close at 5pm. I would even pay $3 more per item on the delivery app“

“If I was on death row I would ask them to make my last meal. Everything on this menu is the best Caribbean you can get. Amazing!“
“Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. This is a must stop for me to grab a few packs of rock cake to take back to Toronto.“

“I've bought sushi from here a few times over the year, it is always delicious and fresh. Not all sushi places let you get a full vegeterian plate so it is appreciated. The place is small, but nice and I've never had any employees that were anything other than professional and kind. However, please do fix your opening hours because I walked 30min to get to you and arrived around 11:30 and you were still closed.“
