We came looking cute <3 as instructed for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience!
The food was impeccable, and stunning. unique and masterfully crafted dishes! That brightened my evening. It was an amazing experience, Especially as a chef in the industry seeing someone put out unique dishes with passion and love. Executing them to perfection.
Honestly I can’t thank the chef and staff enough. Food has become repetitive and uninspiring from working in the industry so long. But I have to say that eating at nili was the opposite! I haven’t had anything impress me as much as my experience tonight. And remind me why I do it.

“The space is a bit small but very cozy. It’s divided lengthwise into two sections: one side is the kitchen, the other is the dining area. There are only about 4–5 tables for two or four people, plus a counter seating area. It’s an open kitchen, so you can watch them making dumplings right in front of you. Everything looks neat and clean. The place gets pretty busy, both at lunch and dinner.
I first came here last year and have been back a few times since. It’s definitely busier now, but the quality has stayed consistent. I always order one soup dumpling and one fried dumpling. The soup dumplings are juicy and flavorful. The fried ones have a crispy bottom that’s really satisfying to bite into.
The real star (according to my partner, and I agree) is the chili oil. It’s $2 for a small bowl and totally worth it: fragrant, spicy, and perfect with the dumplings.
The staff are constantly working. Usually there’s one person folding dumplings right near the entrance, two servers handling orders, and one person on the line. Everyone seems focused and organized. They seat guests quickly, clear tables fast, take orders smoothly, and even recommend dishes to nearby tables. Friendly, efficient, and hardworking.
Definitely worth trying. My partner and I keep coming back whenever we visit Montreal, he’s a big fan. It’s a great spot for anything from a casual hangout to a date night, or even a solo meal.“

“We made a reservation for 7:30 PM on the 25 December 2025 and had to wait for about 15min once arrived at the restaurant. Service was wonderful, the staffs there were friendly and welcoming got everything we ordered 🧡 However, the time taken between each courses took forever so we end up trying to kill time by having a conversation and play some board games while waiting on our food. The first two courses (soup, salade and the salmon) served us relatively okay time, our pina colada, tea and our water was pretty fast but our main dishes took over a hour and half almost 2 hours to received it.. 🥲 I'm glad that I kept a bit my salad because our meal was extremely salty so it helps to balance the dish out.
The food we order overall was delicious, soup and salmon was great, our beef steak was spectacular, the drinks and our desserts was delicious 😋 The desserts came pretty quickly (way faster than the soup and salad actually) 😅 The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the fries, it was extremely salty and wasn't capable to finish them. I was able to eat a few bites of it and take the rest to go for my husband (he enjoys the fries a lot, he finish his fries on his plates quickly).
The decor was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, love the music and the ambiance in this restaurant, great food and amazing staffs, service was on point ☆ Overall, it's fantastic way to celebrate the holidays with my husband ❤️🎄⛄️ We just wish that the main course didn't took over a hour of waiting... 💔
Aside of that, will come back again for sure ! The food was very good at this restaurant and we enjoy our experience 🥰“

“I adore Malatang so I might be a little biased, but I loved this place. You grab a bowl, load up on the assorted selection of ingredients, and then the price is calculated by weight. Though it does look like they have combo options too.
This place had a wide selection of ingredients, there was plenty of options! We ordered the spicy beef broth, and it was very rich and flavorful with a nice kick to it. The only thing that I would say is that some of the veggie items didn't look particularly fresh.
The staff was also super nice, offering to explain how ordering works and show you the ropes. Overall, very enjoyable, delicious experience and a fun and unique way to eat! We felt very fulfilled leaving this place.“

“I loooove this place! It's a modern moroccan spot. I love how cozy it is and the menu is just amazing. If I can, I would eat through them all. On wednesday and thursday you can get their 3-services menu. You will roll out of there for sure, in a food coma. I felt just like in morocco. It's worth the detour!“
“I went to the Napa Lounge as I got in quite late and it seemed to be the easiest option to eat at. When I got my order, the food here was surprisingly delicious. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. The only complaint I have is that the food is quite expensive and teeters on not being worth what you pay. However, I would definitely come back here.
The service was excellent as well. And the atmosphere was alright. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone staying in the area.“

“I'm a local Verdunian. With the construction post I wanted to go support the resto! The taste of the food was good, well cooked, but it did take over an hour for the main to be served. The staff should stir the soup before plating as mine was pure liquid and someone else got tons of shrimps and goodies. Also the Bavette was well cooked/seasoned but I did find the dish and protein cut size and sides small given it was the most $ on the menu.“
