“La Dolce Vita Gelato in Montreal was definitely worth the visit! I tried a few flavors and couldn’t choose just one, so I went with the dark chocolate vegan and chocolate hazelnut. Both were absolutely delicious! There’s such a huge variety of flavors to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one.

The vibe of the place is lovely, and the lady at the counter was super sweet and helpful in guiding me to choose the perfect flavors. I wish I had more time to try even more of their unique options. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!“

Their signature chocolate-dipped soft serve ice cream, paired with a candy-factory vibe, makes the experience fun and indulgent. Personally, I always stick to the “baby” or mini sizes since the ice creams are incredibly rich. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat either before or after catching a show at Place des Arts. This spot gets popular fast, so don’t be surprised if there’s a lineup—especially with tourists in the summer. When that happens, the staff can seem a bit overwhelmed.“

“This was definitely one of the top places I got to visit during my short Montreal work trip.
I almost just went to Tsujiri a block away because of the brand/ name recognition and it’s closer to the hotel I was staying at, but I’m sooooo glad I gave this place a chance/try 🤩💛

Both of the days I came (yes, it was so good I had to return the next day lol) it was filled with people both dining in and grabbing things to go. The oat matcha latte I got was whisked to perfection (I wonder if it was the owner at the bar), and you could tell that the matcha was made with such care, precision, and craft 💚 The matcha scone that I got, however, kind of stole the show for me, lol. It had a perfect caramelized crunchy exterior, while the inside was moist, matcha forward, aromatic, and baked to perfection. I had to physically stop myself from not devouring the whole thing in one go, and I was sad that I wasn’t able to get the scone again the next day 😮‍💨

A (hopefully not so) hidden gem in the neighborhood, and I can’t wait for my inevitable return to try more things in the future!“

“After seeing Mr Puffs all over my DoorDash (I am unfamiliar with the franchise since we don’t have it back in BC/ Vancouver), I finally decided to give this place a chance after my two-hour evening exploration around beautiful Old Montreal and being disappointed by both Ben & Jerry and Mtldulce around the block lol (Both said they were open according to Google, both were closed 🙂‍↕️).

I caved and gave/bought into the hype and got their Dubai Mount Olympus, and it was…just okay? Every ingredient going into the dish is right up my alley- donut holes, ice cream, crunchy knafeh, chocolate drizzle…but I found the whole thing coming together to be incredibly rich and overpowering one another. Their ice cream was so thick, it felt like I was biting into hardened cream without that natural melt in your mouth consistently, and the knafeh didn’t have enough presence to really be felt.

I was still really happy I gave it a try- would I say this was one of the most memorable desserts I had in Montreal? Definitely not, but the novelty of the whole dish really carried me through. I’d be down to return to try other flavors, but perhaps this is more meant for sharing than a solo adventure!“

“Was really surprised by quality of the shop when I went in there for a cone.

The employees were very nice and patient when I was indecisive about what I wanted. They had a lot of different flavors and cones to choose from, and the price was actually quite reasonable compared to other places. I ended up getting their Lemon Sorbet.

The lobby was quaint and visibly diligently cleaned often. The size of the place wasn't an issue, especially since most customers buy ice cream to-go instead of eating it inside at the tables.

10/10 recommend if you're looking for a nice place to take a break at during a hot summer day.“

“I’m visiting from abroad and came specifically to try poutine and BeaverTail. Viviane was wonderful, kind, very patient and helped me order. The bacon poutine and the brownie BeaverTail were both delicious, prepared quickly, and packed perfectly for takeout. I loved the BeaverTail, the texture was so soft and crunchy at the same time. Would definitely recommend, and the price was fine!“

“I usually enjoy buying puffs from this branch and have always appreciated the quality. Unfortunately, my recent experience was less pleasant. The person who mentioned being the manager did not seem very welcoming when taking my order and answered our questions in a way that felt dismissive.
I believe a warmer attitude toward customers would make a big difference. If the branch is too busy during peak hours, perhaps having additional staff could help ease the pressure.
Even though this branch is the closest to my place, I may consider visiting another location in the future.“
