I have had a few of her confections at friend's events, but recently I ordered a cake for my own baby shower, not only was it gorgeous and matched the decor perfectly, it was soooo tasty. “Always the bright part of my day to go in and pick up a little treat (pastries) or their fresh bagels and baguettes, and chat a little with Rami and Usha. They’re so friendly, and since I’ve been quite isolated (as we all have in the pandemic) it has been so special to have friendly people to just stop in to say a quick hello. My favourites are the bagels, the chocolatine and croissants!“

Le chocolat noir à la cerise sans alcool est divin, celui à la praline sublime, les petit barils à la ganache au chocolat sont délicieux... pour les autres, je ne me souviens plus des noms ! “This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.“

“I’m visiting from abroad and came specifically to try poutine and BeaverTail. Viviane was wonderful, kind, very patient and helped me order. The bacon poutine and the brownie BeaverTail were both delicious, prepared quickly, and packed perfectly for takeout. I loved the BeaverTail, the texture was so soft and crunchy at the same time. Would definitely recommend, and the price was fine!“

“There’s a quiet kind of comfort in this bakery that’s hard to put into words. The bread is always fresh, soft on the inside with that perfect crust the kind you tear apart while it’s still warm. And the cakes… they don’t just look beautiful, they feel like they’re made for real moments, shared with people you care about.

Everything here has that homemade touch, like it was made with patience and heart. It’s not just about bread or cake it’s about the feeling you take with you when you leave. I’m sooo happy to find this place ❤“

“We stopped at Bon et Petit because we were craving something sweet. I’ve ordered from them before, and since we were in the area, we decided to pick up a few treats. We bought 5 cake slices, and the owner packed them into a box and wished us goodbye. We asked if all the cakes were inside, and he said yes.

When we got home — which isn’t close to the shop — we realized one cake slice was missing. My husband called, and the owner told us we could come back to pick it up. My husband went back and the owner of the shop excused herself for the mistake and gave us an extra slice free of charge.

We appreciate the owners taking responsability for the mistake made.“

“Plenty of freshly baked goodies available on Sunday at 10am. The place was busy with most tables occupied and people coming in to grab a coffee or bread to go. Not pictured but we shared a half baguette sandwich with ham and Swiss cheese (warmed up) , two chocolatines (still warm from the oven) and two coffees.

We were disappointed to learn their coffee machine was out of order so they could only serve filtered coffee at the time. Then within 5 minutes of us getting our order we heard the coffee machine working for other patrons…🥲“
