“We celebrated my mother’s 84th birthday at Portovino Restaurant for Sunday’s brunch. We were 20 people and from the time I made the reservation to the end, the level of service was amazing. The owners and staff offer the upmost incredible service. The ambiance, service and food was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant for the delicious food and friendly service. “We ordered the meat platter for four, and the portion was very generous. The meat patties, chicken gyro, and sausage were delicious, though the pork had a few tough pieces (still well seasoned).
The Greek potatoes were a bit disappointing as they were quite greasy.
Cocktails were a highlight with an original twist—the Georgio Smash was especially great, and the Malaka Mule and Santorini Spritz were good too.
We also ordered a large SVK salad on the side, but it wasn’t as big as expected (especially compared to the one with the pita plate). It tasted good, though the dressing was a bit sweet and the feta portion was small.
Service was fast, and everything came out hot.
The place got quite crowded around 6:30, but overall a really enjoyable meal.“
