“This is my 2nd time at the restaurant. This time we were 7 of us and we had a fabulous time. Clean, great regal ambience, Great staff speaks in French and English, Great food. We ordered combos but the food was so generous , we could not finish it,. WE had 4 boxes of left overs to take home. Food was aromatic and not spicy, Staff we lovely. Over all 5 Star dining and service. I already have a reservation to go back later this month. For future visitors to the restaurant try the Food Combos. Absolutely divine.. !!! Bon appetite a tous.“

We mostly stuck to our plan, but there was one irresistible temptation: taking the metro train just to savor a mouthwatering and wholesome lunch at SpiceBros in Laval. The food quality, pleasant ambience, cleanliness, and the friendly and attentive staff at the counter always draw us back whenever we visit Montreal. “Really delicious food and attentive service! We were three people, and we got samosa, palak paneer, chicken tikka, a lamb and lentil curry, raita and naan to share. Absolute heaven! We got little shooters of mango lassi on the house to start, and our server brought us a portion of mango kulfi to share at the end, which was lovely. There was salt and pepper on the table, which I appreciate as a salt freak, and our server kept our water filled, which I also look for in restaurants. The bathroom was very clean. There was music on the TV, but it was not too loud to talk, and it was gentle instrumental music. Overall a lovely time, we'll surely be back.“

“We've eaten there twice. Chicken Cheri and was delicious, also aloo baigan. Mixed vegetables, rice and naan. We liked the Malai kofta sauce, but less the balls. The service was very good. Watch out the front door slams when both doors are open. My hand got hurt by the slam.

“We came to Montreal from the U.S. for a weekend getaway, and one thing was non-negotiable on our agenda—finding really good Indian food. After seeing this place highly recommended on social media, we decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did.

It's a small, unassuming spot, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with heart. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. It's a family-run restaurant, and every single person made an effort to stop by our table and make sure everything was perfect. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated.

We were greeted with a welcome drink, and honestly, I could have happily drunk an entire glass of the gol gappa water they served. It was that good.

The star of the meal was undoubtedly the Amritsari kulcha. One bite and I was transported straight back to the streets of Amritsar. Easily some of the best kulchas I've had outside of India. They were perfectly seasoned, not overloaded with spices, and had just the right amount of crunch. The channa that came alongside was excellent, and the imli and onion chutney was such a nostalgic touch. It's something I've only ever seen served properly in Amritsar, never here in North America.

We also ordered the chole bhature, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chole was prepared differently from the one served with the kulchas. Most places use the exact same preparation for both dishes, but not here. The bhature were light, fluffy, and not greasy at all.

The veg momos were another standout—thin wrappers, generous filling, and cooked perfectly. Simple, fresh, and delicious.

The paneer tikka was equally impressive. Soft, tender paneer marinated the traditional way and seasoned beautifully. One thing we noticed throughout the meal was that nothing was overly spicy or loaded with unnecessary seasoning. The flavours felt balanced and authentic, allowing each dish to shine on its own.

The food here doesn't just fill your stomach—it takes you back home. We loved it so much that before heading back to the U.S., we came back the very next day for lunch.

This place satisfied both our heart and our soul. If you're in Montreal and craving authentic Amritsari food made with care, this is an absolute must-visit.“
