“Dad and I often stop on the way back from our hunting grounds. We'll drive by 3 or 4 patateries just to stop at Kingburger. They make an AWESOME poutine by any Quebecers standard. We always split a batch of cinnamon sugar churros (so crunchy and delicious!) 10/10. Would recommend. PS: The view across the street is beautiful, and you can see it very well from the clean outdoor dining area, they have a covered seating area if you want to be out of the rain or in the shade, as well as a couple tables if you want to enjoy the sun. Tons of parking space too. Have gone there for years and will continue to do so.”

“This was the second time I visited in as many weeks. It is a cute old fashioned bakery where you will find something you like. If you go later in the day, note that not all of your favorite goods will still be around.”

“Having grownup in Wakefield and eating at and seeing many restaurants come and go over the years this is truly one of theee best restaurants to adorn our lovely community! Extremely friendly staff led by two gracious hosts! Its nice to see life long locals doing well 👏. I recommend whatever is on the menu; keep an open mind, just because you may not have experienced a menu with combinations like this doesn’t mean your dish won’t be delicious! Same goes for desserts!”

“In regards to the gross reviews left by dirtbags on here: This is not the first time this building has had problems with foreigners causing problems and falsely crying racism. When it was a boucherie, before Casa opened, a bunch of Black Lives Matter goons caused problems and had to be run out of town. We love our local businesses, we love our cozy, non-diverse village. If you are coming here to cause strife, I'd advise you stay the hell away. We don't want you here. As for Casa, the prices are a bit exorbitant, but the food and service are excellent.”

“Ok, so I’m from the US and subway is usually mid at best, but this Subway deserves 5 stars. The toppings in the window looked like the best, most fresh toppings I’ve ever seen at a subway. Parking is sort of meh with the tiger market next door, but easy.”

“An impromptu visit for drinks at this unique and serene restaurant in Wakefield, turned into a wonderful dinner. We opted to sit in the outdoor patio facing the falls. The day was perfect with clouds protecting us from the sun. We had an entree that was perfect for two, delicious cheeses and meat plus sides. For dinner we chose a meal for two, rib steak cooked to perfection accompanied by sides of various vegetables cooked to perfection

“I went for their Friday Jazz event and it was definitely worth it. The food was equally satifying. The roasted lamb with cous-cous was so yummy - I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite big for one person. The lamb was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. It was perfectly cooked and the flavor was very unique. I also had one of their delicious handmade special eastern cakes - yum yum.”

“This place was renovated recently and has improved. The value for money has changed as well and I did not get as much as before for an increase in money, so I guess I'm paying for the renos! Overall, tho, an ok place to grab a quick snack, etc. There is still a language problem with English not understood. At least the staff are not nasty anymore. Whew.”
