“I was very impressed by the drinks, very very yummy! The cheesecake was also amazing. The decor was fresh and modern and pretty. Not as impressed with the tiramisu, which was an odd kind of foamy/gelatiny something. And they really need to get a handle on the amount of plastic waste - even the plastic forks were wrapped in plastic; each cake slice wrapped in plastic; plastic plastic plastic. At least find something biodegradable, there's things on the market now! I would definitely go again but I'd bring my own mug and fork.“

“Place is slightly more expensive than large chain bbt places but they have some amazing mixes, definitely go for the staff pick. Slightly cozy/small space that also sells cold gift boxes (sweets) and individual deserts too. Got the grape lemonade one with strawberry jelly.“

“One off bubble tea shops that aren’t part of a big chain are usually bad but not this one. I think they have the best bubble tea in Ottawa! They offer some different flavours and topping that’s other shops don’t have. The drinks are always tasty and their toppings are always spot on too. I’ve tried most of their menu and none of the drinks have disappointed!

Located in the T&T building so perfect to grab on your way out after after doing groceries.“

“Hopped in for some boba right before it closed with a friend, and despite our indecisiveness staring at the menu, the workers were patient, quick, and helpful.

I was very surprised at the low prices for the amount of tea. At least at other shops lately I’ll be getting a regular size + milk substitute and it’ll total to over 10$ minimum. This was 15$ for two drinks!

Had the caramel brown sugar low ice and it was great. Nice chewy pearls, slight molasses taste to the sugar, and can still taste the tea through the milk. Will be back again to try some of the other food items :)

“The Ally is my only GO TO Milk tea shop around Ottawa area. The team is very friendly, and I like the speed of their service. Especially, last time I met with Jessica. “Shares a spot with the rice dog place so nice to get the two together. It’s also nice to have bubble tea close to campus. It’s gone downhill since first opening though and inconsistent in quality. A previous time I went I had chocolate milk tea which I’m not sure if they didn’t clean the mixer properly or something or not mixing enough but there were grounds of something in it. This time with the strawberry milk tea it was fine and delicious. I wish they also had an easier to read menu as the font is tiny.

Also avoid the bathroom at all costs. It’s been an issue for at least a year but it smells like someone had explosive diarrhea and has started to smell in the main area now. I hope management fixes it soon along with the place being understaffed.

Vegetarian options: It’s bubble tea so there’s no meat on the menu. Although I’m not sure if the bubbles are made of animal gelatine.

Parking: Depending on the time of day, college square is either easy or difficult to find parking in“

“I got an Einspanner Salty Caramel Latte and it was the best thing ever. I try to discover new coffee places everytime I’m downtown for work, and this hidden gem was the best find of the week. Amazing customer service and even better drinks☕️? Totally recommend!!!“

“This is such an underrated bubble tea spot. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Their sizes are generous, and their flavours are delicious. The staff was very friendly. The interior is very clean and minimalistic. They also have games you can play if you come with someone, or with a group.“

“This is my go to bubble tea place in Ottawa (if I'm ever in the area lol). Have been going here since I was in high school and the drinks have never disappointed me. My go to then and my go to now is the Taro Slush | 100% sugar | Coconut Jelly + Tapioca Pearls or Strawberry Latte | 100% Sugar | Less Ice. The occasion promotional drinks are decent, nothing surprising. Since they first opened they have added a couple shelves in the store selling little items and accessories such as plushies, pens, little figures, notebooks etc.“

“I actually warmed up to this spot and I have no regrets! Their low prices are a god sent in this economy and just what I need if I want a quick fixer upper on my way home. I am very careful with what I order so I have never been disappointed. Their matcha was good and I’ve tried strawberry banana, pina colada smoothie, brown sugar milk tea, taro and coconut but I really do think that you are getting the most out of their diamond slush and their oolong milk tea. The oolong milk tea satisfies any milk tea craving you may have and it isn’t too sweet (thank god). I would highly recommend. There is an Asian young lady that is a little rude and rolls her eyes when I order (why :,)) but you can use the self serve I guess. The other employee is very kind. All that matters is that I get a tasty drink and I always have!“

“Very good bubble tea and study place. My favorites is their regular milk tea with less sugar and their strawberry latte. They open late and are perfect for quiet studying (unlike chattime where the music played is always very loud and distracting) but there IS better spots to drink boba in Ottawa. Still a spot I’d recommend.“

“First time trying Coco Fresh Tea. I ordered a medium pearl milk tea with more ice and 30% sugar. My order came to almost $7. I do like the consistency of their pearls, but I do find both the pearls and milk tea a little on the sweet side. I was the only person in store so the service was quick to the point. The restaurant itself was fairly basic with large open area and a couple of tables and a bunch of along one wall.
