“Tonight was my first time there. Once I got up the stairs (puff puff 😁) I joined the group I was meeting. There was cold water waiting. In no time at all, we were given food menus followed by the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I didn’t understand a couple of the food descriptions and our Server, Felix, was quick to explain without me feeling like a dope. I ordered a plate (started with a “B”) because it included three differently tasting items. And, a bottle of white wine. The whole group was pleased with the timely delivery of their meals. Mine was delicious - one hot spicy, one less spicy and one full of flavours. Plus, rice, purple cabbage (!) and beans. Everyone liked their menu choices. The portions were large. We ate, not feeling rushed at all. Felix asked if we’d like to take home what was left on our plates…”yes please” and brought take home boxes. I said “I guess the rest of the wine stays here LOL”. Well, Felix just said “no - I can take care of that for you” and he did ! I came home with second dinner - food & wine ! Kudos to Felix and Casa Mexicana for hiring him. I look forward to eating there again !“

“This little bistro's food is outstanding! So tasty, and the très leche cake is to die for. The view of the river: wow! They are so friendly and warm. The owners (host and chef) are singers who also occasionally do a song! Truly a gem of a place!

The portion size was great, and I brought home half to have later. Chicken was very flavourful, and there were lots of onions too. The sauce on top was drool worthy.

Every single taco has its own distinct and authentically Mexican flavour.. incredibly happy to have found this Taqueria in Ottawa!!
We have tried one of each kind of taco as well as the quesobarilla with excellent broth, taquitos and the house made beverages (horchatas, Fresca juices) are perfect!“

“I’m from Dorval, and every time I come to Ottawa I make sure to stop by the Burrito Gringo Bronson location. It’s hands down one of the best Tex-Mex places around. I really enjoy how generous they are with the portions, the amount of items they load into the burrito, the flavour of their meats, the salsa and the guacamole. Everything is always on point. I honestly wish they had a location in Montreal.
Service was amazing as well. The girls who served me were extremely friendly and the pulled beef was incredible. I even saw them taking it out fresh from the oven , you can really taste the difference.“
