“Oktoberfest done right at Kahnawake Brewing Company...in October, as it should be! 🤣 We shared a big pretzel with beer mustard and spicy beer cheese. I got the jagerschnitzel and she got the "wurst dog ever"...beer-battered bratwurst sausage with all the fixings. Only thing that was missing was the advertised pretzel bun! It definitely was far from the worst dog ever! 😜 It was very loud in there and service was slow, which I hope is not the norm for this place because the food, ambiance and beers are very good! Also, they increased the price of the pretzel by 20%. Overall 3.5/10 Our 1st visit at this brewery and not our last! 😃“

“Such a cool spot! We showed up during a Stanley Cup Playoff game that included the Habs AND during the Grand Prix and we still managed to find a seat. We also got our food incredibly fast for such a busy night. Everything was delicious. The beers were also fantastic. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Montreal!“

Not only was the atmosphere awesome, super relaxed with games, (pinball machines!!) and cool artwork, the beer was delicious! They have several European styles to balance the ipa’s on the menu and we loved everything we tried. The cream ale was my favorite and my wife loved the winter warmer. We chatted with the staff and other patrons and they were all extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us food recs and made us feel very welcome! We will definitely visit again!“

“This was our first time at Origine Brass and overall it was an excellent experience. Friendly service and we enjoyed trying 4 different beers and the food was excellent. I had the artichoke and goat cheese pizza, one friend had the shrimp and lobster roll with fries, another had the burger (2 huge patties) with fries. The fries are excellent. I am not a beer drinker but I enjoy this type of establishment as they have several varieties that are delicious. All in all a fun night and we will be back!“

The bartender was really kind, and the beer selection was good (although a little less varied & leaning towards more amber/bitter beers at the time we visited). “Came for MTL à Table experience. Food was good but portions could have been more generous. I ordered the ribs, and I got 2 very small-sized ribs and a tablespoon worth of BBQ sauce. Partner's fish burger was tasty and well done. Appetizers and desserts were good.
Service was excellent and attentive. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. The beers were excellent as well.
Overall, come for the beer and atmosphere. Consider splitting food. Food is good but pricey.“

For me the food was an adjunct as the main purpose here was really the beer. There is a limited choice but what they did was well cooked and pleasant to eat. “Visited on June 13, 2021, in the afternoon, my first brewery/brewpub rating since September of last year. Located between Christophe-Colomb Ave and the RJ (GMT) Brewery, the building used to house Grolsch Canada Inc, which is distributed by GMT. Although the building has been part of the brewery for years, it's only last year brewpub project came too light, under Jan-Philippe Barbeau, best known for MacKroken Flower and the Loup Rouge Brewery. It opened to the public for the first time last Friday, so it's very young, however it's been brewing for months now selling cans in limited retail stores. The north end of the brewpub is were the large patio is located and so far the only place open. There is no food for now because the kitchen is not ready. There is 8 beers on tap, 5 are from the main brewery and 3 from the brewpub, they also have hard cider in cans and a few none alcohol beers. In the front the indoor pub, but is not open, but it looks fairly big. Bathrooms are on the De La Roche Street side of the building, all very accessible and the staff is quit friendly. A new place for Barbeau to practice his art!“

“After a long walk through downtown Montréal, this place is exactly what you need to recharge. The atmosphere is super cool and cozy—perfect for relaxing and unwinding with a cold, high-quality beer.

The beer we had (Echinopsis) was incredibly smooth and very delicious—easy to drink and full of great flavor.
