“We stopped by during our trip to Montreal because I read an article that the head brewer was a woman and we wanted to support women in the beer industry! Not only was the atmosphere awesome, super relaxed with games, (pinball machines!!) and cool artwork, the beer was delicious! They have several European styles to balance the ipa’s on the menu and we loved everything we tried. The cream ale was my favorite and my wife loved the winter warmer. We chatted with the staff and other patrons and they were all extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us food recs and made us feel very welcome! We will definitely visit again!“

“this charming establishment offers a thoughtfully curated short menu of delicious microbrewed beers that cater to diverse palates.
The ambiance is inviting, with a great terrace to enjoy the fresh air while sipping on a brew. It's the perfect evening activity after dinner, - an ideal spot to unwind and chill with friends while soaking in the lively atmosphere.
It has a fantastic vibe. We were particularly delighted by the nostalgic gaming area featuring the original Nintendo system, N64, and GameCube.
A blend of exceptional craft beers, a welcoming atmosphere, and a unique gaming twist! 🍻🎮✨“

“Mellon is a lager brewery.
Bavarian biergarten tables.
LUKR taps for the Czech lager.
Gravity barrel for the kellerbier.
Both beers appear to be infusion-brewed (not decocted) and good lagers for Canada standards.
Awesome ambience.
Wills beers were slightly better though.“
“A great place for conversation or dinner with a long list of awesome brews. I saw groups and solo diners too. Friendly servers and you decide the size of your pours: from tasting glasses to full pints. I wish they included a few ciders to their taps.“

“I keep seeing people call this a metal/punk bar, but I didn't actually notice that when I visited. I think they were playing some metal and I guess some people were dressed in light-punk style but it didn't make itself obvious as a punk themed bar to me. Which I suppose is better since it makes it more inviting to people in general while still providing that niche for the punk/metal community. The beer selection is great, the bartender was really cool and was happy to let me try samples. Pricing is very fair too. This is an excellent microbrewery whether you are a punk/metalhead or not.“

“Came for MTL à Table experience. Food was good but portions could have been more generous. I ordered the ribs, and I got 2 very small-sized ribs and a tablespoon worth of BBQ sauce. Partner's fish burger was tasty and well done. Appetizers and desserts were good.
Service was excellent and attentive. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. The beers were excellent as well.
Overall, come for the beer and atmosphere. Consider splitting food. Food is good but pricey.“
“This was an excellent find. The beers are great and the staff were very helpful in helping me pick four beers to taste. They couldn't have been more helpful. For me the food was an adjunct as the main purpose here was really the beer. There is a limited choice but what they did was well cooked and pleasant to eat. The staff here were far superior to anywhere else in Montreal, many of whom were quite surly. But here they were great.“

“Interesting cider! The crisp one was like a sour ball, but the hint of apple is much more present than other ciders. $11 for a pint.
A pint was a lot for me, and I had to sip it to some servers dismay. Nice outdoor seating.
Burger was ok. Prepared well w a buttered bun but dry. Not many food options,.“

“You go there for the best craft beers in Montreal. You return for the warm ambiance and really good comfort food. You return again to enjoy the best summer of your life on their amazing terrasse. I forget to mention the crazy price deals on 5 à 7 (7/7), you will return for that too. Last but not least, if you are a hockey fan, games are live on giant screen and you could win your ticket to go enjoy a game at the Bell center. One ticket to win every week!“

“Visited on June 13, 2021, in the afternoon, my first brewery/brewpub rating since September of last year. Located between Christophe-Colomb Ave and the RJ (GMT) Brewery, the building used to house Grolsch Canada Inc, which is distributed by GMT. Although the building has been part of the brewery for years, it's only last year brewpub project came too light, under Jan-Philippe Barbeau, best known for MacKroken Flower and the Loup Rouge Brewery. It opened to the public for the first time last Friday, so it's very young, however it's been brewing for months now selling cans in limited retail stores. It opened to the public for the first time last Friday, so it's very young, however it's been brewing for months now selling cans in limited retail stores. The north end of the brewpub is were the large patio is located and so far the only place open. There is no food for now because the kitchen is not ready. There is 8 beers on tap, 5 are from the main brewery and 3 from the brewpub, they also have hard cider in cans and a few none alcohol beers. In the front the indoor pub, but is not open, but it looks fairly big. Bathrooms are on the De La Roche Street side of the building, all very accessible and the staff is quit friendly. A new place for Barbeau to practice his art!“

“We decided to try this place out for our card gaming night. And there is a lot to like, but there's also a few things that stand out that will likely result in me not returning too often. The beer was very good, I do like the fact that they brew their own beer locally and everything we tried was very good and the prices for the beer are more reasonable than most places. The food was also quite good, the menu is very limited, they basically have three sandwiches, hot dogs and pretzels. I also like the self serve water refill option. I had the pork kimchi sandwich, which comes with chips (they are Miss Vickie's which are sadly US owned, it would be nice if they chose a fully Canadian option), is pressed and has a nice little spice to it. It was really good, the portion was not too big but good enough and the price was also fair. I also enjoyed the music, I thought it was a little bit old school for the crowd, but worked for me. It is however little bit on the loud side, we had to raise our voices in order to hear ourselves speak and so did everybody else, I tend to go to bars to speak to my friends and when we have to yell over the music, it kind of ruins the atmosphere.
They also have a great outdoor space in the back, it's really nice and it's totally smoke-free, something that I learned not to take for granted after visiting other countries. However, one of the big downsides are the chairs, both inside and outside, which I noted in other reviews and I would have to agree. They are very uncomfortable, doesn't really make you want to stick around for a second beer or a meal. Install a nice place that just needs a few little tweaks to be a go to for me.“

“I visited specifically to try their Our Bruin, a specifiv style of a Belgian sour beer in the style of a Rodenbach or Liefmans Golden band. Very drinkable but it lacks a bit of the depth of the Belgium originals. A good thirst quenched but less of a sophisticated sip.“

Great beer selection, and the service was incredible. I think our server’s name was Noam (not 100% sure), but he was extremely friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!“
