“I had really high expectations for Restaurant Monarque and was hoping it would completely blow me away. While the food was delicious, the overall experience fell just slightly short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Service was the main area that didn’t quite meet expectations. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before receiving menus and had to ask for them. Throughout the meal, interactions felt a bit rushed - several staff members who stopped by the table were somewhat brief, and on a few occasions, items like bread or water were dropped off while we tried to ask questions, but the busser had already walked away. That said, the restaurant was quite busy during lunch, so it’s possible the pace and attentiveness were impacted by that. As for the food, we ordered the albacore tuna appetizer along with the strip loin, butcher’s cut, and duck for our mains. Everything was well-prepared, though the duck portion was noticeably small. Desserts were a highlight - especially the pavlova with maracuya, which was excellent. Our server Laura was professional, though not very engaging until the very end of the meal when we were settling the bill. I would still return, as the food is strong, but I have to say that Bar George left a more lasting impression on us in terms of both food and service.“

“🌟 Une expérience brunch exquise au Marcus – Four Seasons Montréal 🌟 J’ai eu le plaisir de savourer le brunch du dimanche au Marcus, et je tiens à exprimer toute ma gratitude pour cette expérience remarquable. Installée au comptoir, j’ai pu observer en direct le ballet parfaitement orchestré de la cuisine, dirigé avec maîtrise par la sous-chef Cannelle. La rigueur, l’organisation et la synchronisation de l’équipe étaient impressionnantes. C’était un véritable spectacle culinaire, captivant à regarder. J’ai choisi la formule brunch complète, et chaque service a été un ravissement : 🍊 Le jus d’orange, très frais et juteux, donnait le ton. 🥯 L’assiette de bagel au saumon fumé, accompagnée d’une salade fraîche, était délicieuse. 🥑 Le toast à l’avocat, tomate et feta était savoureux, parfaitement assaisonné. 🍰 Et pour conclure, la brioche à la cannelle en dessert était absolument succulente. Le service a été impeccable, attentionné et fluide du début à la fin. L’ambiance raffinée du lieu a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour ce moment d’exception. Je recommande sans hésiter.“

“Some really tasty good here. The burger I had was fantastic, and although I would've rathered it was cooked to medium-rare the flavour and juciness were incredible. The fries were very moreish too. The beers were decent, but really come here for the food.“

“Our first time at Brasserie Bernard. Very busy (a good sign!), vibrant and beautiful restaurant. Our food was good (oysters, French onion soup and steak & frites were delicious, the burrata salad less so). Recommended wine pairings were great. Service was excellent and very friendly. “We spent four days and nights touring Montreal but staying at another hotel close by but somehow managed to find this terrific bar in the DELTA !!!! And we never got past the bar for three of four of those nights. The casual atmosphere, fabulous service (...although I had to talk to the manager about the sad UNDERSTAFFING of the bar area!!!!) and the bar menu was enough for us to be more than satisfied.
We started with some lovely Sancerre wine , local beer and a massive charcuterie board with some delicious meaty pate and rich Quebec cheeses.
Later visits repeated the refreshments and added the ESCARGOTS and an ONION SOUP. We were expecting the usual 6 shells and a lot of work but instead received a beautifully flavoured and very filling dish of a dozen shelled snails in a slightly-garlicy sauce topped with lightly fried polenta cubes. We could have /should have shared this as the thickly-covered cheese onion soup was also a large serving.
Terrific bar and a surprisingly quality chef and kitchen staff providing excellent food presented by excellent (yet UNDER-STAFFED) servers for this popular bar.
Next time we'll have to get into the larger restaurant.“

“My girlfriend and I are spending the week at Hilton Homewood Suites, and I would like to recognize the restaurant’s staff, but particularly Jerry for his above and beyond service.
Food was great, atmosphere was great, drinks were great! take advantage of happy hour from 4-6pm!!
Jerry was our bartender on two separate occasions during our stay. We made sure to come back after the amazing treatment and hospitality we received from him on night 1. Not only were his bartending skills top tier, he was happy to share his knowledge of the city with us, giving us lots of ideas for activities during our stay. As first time visitors of the city, we can confidently say Jerry made a positive impact on our stay.“
