“Delicious sauerkraut burger and sausages, good white beer. THANKSParking: As the car is the enemy to be defeated in MTL, go there on foot if it's okay, otherwise parking will add to the bill and I'm not talking about just driving around in the area... the horror.“
“Visited for the first time on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I had seen something on Instagram in regards to their release of the barrel aged stouts and I knew I needed to make the trek. I was not disappointed and in fact, I will definitely be visiting again - and again - and again. After a long walk from Verdun - I for some reason couldn't triangulate the location in my brain - I finally arrived, to pretty much my old stomping grounds. I realized I could have taken the 36 bus and walked down through the park and across the bridge. Alas, it was a nice day and I earned my drinks.I arrived, and entered a doorway into a large mess hall of sorts, with plenty of seating and spaces for socializing and relaxing. This area also has a retail space and the large counter to order your drinks. Before I even started exploring I ordered the #29, a barrel aged stout that was unbelievably delicious and unctuous, coating the sides of the glass. They only serve half sizes of this one because it is rather high in alcohol.I walked through the covered terrace and outside, it was still March chilly but the sunshine was spectacular. There are picnic tables and Adirondack chairs throughout and plenty of people were already enjoying the warmer weather. After a while, it does get a little chilly so I gathered up and went inside. So many kids! It felt like a daycare - and a lifeline for parents/guardians. I loved the energy and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, either in couples, groups and families. Truly a space for everyone.I had 2 more delicious drinks, spoke with a few people. Just a fabulous place. I highly recommend.“
“Service was outstanding. The gentleman who helped us was cheerful and attended to us very promptly. The poutine we ordered was delicious and had a peppery gravy that absolutely hit the spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is not accessible but once inside, it is open enough to get around. Low tables are available in the back. Didn't get a look at the washroom situation so not sure there.“
“Boswell is a solid brewpub. The food was standard, the fries were delicious. Served was animated, friendly, and efficient. The only comment I have is that the music was a bit too loud. There were times when I couldn't hear the people at my table due to the music being too distracting.“
“Griffintown seems to be a cute, young neighborhood! This bar is in an unassuming road/area. There is a ton of space inside! My friend and I were surprised when we walked in that it was completely empty... until I realized there was a second room that was full of windows that let in a ton of sun - that's where everyone was! It was too cold that day to be outside, but there was also an outdoor patio area. Our first server was pretty friendly. He told us which beers were part of the day's Happy Hour deal ($5 for a pint!) I ordered a cider because I'm not a beer person, and it was quite good! My friend and I shared a poutine, which was delicious! The gravy wasn't too heavy and the cheese curds tasted great. At that point we were given another server. (Shift change maybe?) The new server wasn't as friendly and came infrequently and in the other room majority of the time, so we had to flag them down for things like water refill and the bill the times they did come back to sunny room. Overall a quaint modern brewery spot. It was a chill day and not too busy, but I enjoyed how we didn't feel rushed and we were able to stay for a good amount of time.“
“A great Bier garden. It's large, has a variety of food and beverages, and has a limited view of the canal. Plenty of beverage options, from soda, and hard cider, to IPAs and stouts.I prefer the lighter side, and got a black fruit cider (I tasted cherry, but they said it had blackberry too), and an apricot wheat.“
“What a great place to spend hours of fun.Delicious drinks and food, as well as good service. Our server was nice and our game host was knowledgeable and had good suggestions.Recommended.Vegetarian options: Fries. Homemade chips. Olives. Etc…Parking: Residential streets with free parking, but the streets were busy on Sunday afternoon.Kid-friendliness: Basic food the kids will love.“
“The beer was supreme and the service was very good. The waitress really took care of us. The food was also good, but in my personal opinion, there was too much dressing in my ceaser salad. It was more eating sauce with a bit of salad than the other way around. But it might be only my personal point of view! A positive note on the grilled chicken, it was really flavoured!“
“Started my gluten free journey after developing an unfortunate allergy, really enjoy trying new beers and drinking beer in general up until it feels like I’m burning and itchy after drinking one. After some research I found the entire line up, and tried the Blonde. It was surprisingly good, and tasted very similar to a local favorite of mine here in Texas. Can’t wait to try the others in the line up. I’m grateful I don’t have to give up beer completely and don’t have to settle for something that tastes horrible.“
“Be warned, karaoke only starts at 10:30 p.m. and the bar takes cash only. While waiting for the party to begin, you can play table football or billiards and enjoy really cheap drinks. The location is convenient too, it's a 5 minute walk to the metro. I will definitely go back.“
“Une soirée exceptionnelle au 3 brasseur Anjou j’ai tellement adoré le nouveau concept de la nouvelle bière du mois merci pour le gérant avec sa touche personnel très apprécié et sans oublier Pénélope très bon service très souriante et absolument professionnelle dans son travail c’est une cerise sur le gâteau merci pour tout le staf.“
“AMAZING FOOD! The service was great, the server was incredibly helpful and nice. The food was very good, the poutine, the chicken, and the drink. The only thing that the onion soup need is a tad bit of salt. Also the dessert was delicious, according to the waiter, the brownie is her favorite and oh my she was right! Chewy and crunchy brookie topped with ice cream and caramel. The food is worth the 50 minute wait. 5 stars!“
“I quite like the drinks and food. The service is always excellent! The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible (basement). The feeling inside is always a bit too loud and crowded for me (all the dark paneling contributes). It's a very convenient location though, easily my favourite bar on Masson!“
“A nice place to grab a bite and hang out with friends. The beer selection was good. The food was just okay. The flatbread was good but the Camembert was surprisingly a bit tasteless (and we love Camembert!). The service was overall good, but our server kept glancing at her Apple Watch a few times while we were deciding what to order, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable thinking that she was impatiently waiting for us to be done.“
“A little expensive in terms of food, but very reasonable for the price of the beer which is excellent. I have been there often and each time the staff is attentive and very friendly, and they know their menu well.Otherwise I didn't think I would get such a slap but the chocolate waffle is insane! The only 'downside' that I consider to the place, but which in itself is a sign of their deserved success, it is always full and in fact, quite noisy. But if you're willing to move on, this restaurant is worth it!“
“Always a go to spot when I visit Montreal. The service is always incredible, and the food is consistently delicious. The beer they offer is also delicious and they have a great, albeit a tad small wine selection! ( It's a brewery after all )Parking: On busy street in Montreal, more for foot traffic but parking is possible!“
