“As a big bbq lover my boyfriend was very impressed with this place! He mentioned its some of the best hes had and similar to down in the states. We made a reso , although not necessarily required on a week nice. Price is definitely affordable also.“

“Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.“

“Great spot in Brossard for casual Mediterranean eats! The prices are very reasonable, and the menu is impressively extensive—there’s something for everyone. The food is consistently delicious, packed with flavor and generously portioned. The dining room is large and comfortable, perfect for groups or families.

The only downside is the service, which tends to be slow, even when it’s not too busy. That said, if you’re not in a rush, it’s definitely worth the wait.

We had the raw halibut which was similar to a ceviche, the muscles with the salsa which were my favourite, pork and beef skewers, as well as three different salads, the green mint bean salad, the salad with mixed greens, as well as the zucchini salad. We also had the grilled arctic char and the lobster risotto. The risotto portion, I expected to be larger esp as a main, but with all the food we had, we were full.“

“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

As someone who cooks all the time, I'm extremely critical about food quality and taste. That's why I was genuinely surprised and impressed with Poulet Rouge on my first visit!

We ordered the chicken bowl with salad and quinoa, the chicken bowl with brown rice, and the chicken poutine. Everything exceeded my expectations for a fast food franchise. The chicken was well-seasoned and properly cooked, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. This isn't your typical fast food - the quality really shows.

Beyond the food, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, and there was comfortable seating available. Our order came out quickly without compromising on taste or presentation.

What really seals the deal is the pricing - it's actually affordable, which is rare these days given the current economy. You're getting quality food at a fair price point.

I'm genuinely excited to go back, which says a lot coming from someone who usually prefers home-cooked meals. Poulet Rouge has earned a regular customer. Highly recommend giving them a try!“

“Service was fast and friendly from the get go. I got the chicken breast combo with fries and salad. I had never tried Portuguese before, but that sauce was on point. “Great quality Chinese food. I came here expecting a filling meal for a low price and I got one. Don’t miss out on the sticky rice and bbq pork. Just be mindful the roasted duck has many bones which was pesky to eat but it was very fatty and juicy. Workers were very nice and were patient with me trying to e transfer since it is cash only and no seating only takeout. Definitely coming back here again. 9/10“

“It's our 1st time here, we came to celebrate our 36yr wedding anniversary, we definitely came to the right place. The mixed seafood platter was to die for! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

A sauce reminiscent of butter chicken, fries more bouncy than crispy. It gets the job done. An extra star because it is the only restaurant open until late in Verdun.“

“During the last few months, they had different fries that were super nasty so after many years I stopped ordering there. Yesterday though, I tried again and ordered a pizza with fries and was happy to find out they went back to the original fries. Hopefully it will remain this way. The new ones were terrible and had me looking for another place to order from. I am removing a star because they need to be consistent and stop trying to change a successfull recipe.“
