“Excellent restaurant with cuisine that combines Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian. The food is delicious and the presentation of the dishes is very successful. The spring rolls are probably the best I've eaten. General Taho Chicken is crispy and spicy to your liking. What can we say about the excellent donuts for dessert.
The service is very courteous and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. There is no alcoholic beverage service but you can bring your own wine.
There is free parking available.”

“This place is authentic. We really enjoyed our pho options. We got the appetizer plate and loved all that. It was freshly deep fried wonton, shrimp and egg rolls. Quaint place in a small neighborhood that can easily be overlooked. Parking is right next to the house looking entrance.”

“A short walk from the hotel next door, so we decided to give it a try. There was a bit of a wait for the waiter. However, lots of people had arrived at the same time, so it was not a problem. He arrived with our popcorn bowl, loaded with yummy popcorn to snack on while waiting. I ordered regular poutine for my meal. It was quite tasty; a bit more spicy than i expected. My husband had an open face shredded beef on bun and fries. My only negative about La Cage is the multiple levels to navigate.”

“The staff here was the best thing about this place. This girl on a Monday night, 10.30pm approx. tried her best to assist with the order.
She took the order, prepared the items correctly and time taken was significantly less than couple other places we visited earlier in the night.
Food was as it was expected to be and was packed neatly.”

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement salués par les cuisiniers déjà à l’œuvre, ainsi que par le chef lui-même — une attention qui donne immédiatement le ton à cette expérience hors du commun. Tout nous a ensuite enveloppés dans une ambiance à la fois élégante, chaleureuse et profondément emblématique. Chaque détail semble pensé pour créer un moment suspendu, où le temps ralentit juste assez pour savourer pleinement. Nous avons opté pour le menu découverte avec l’accord du sommelier… et quelle décision exceptionnelle. Chaque plat était une œuvre, autant visuelle que gustative, où les textures, les saveurs et les contrastes s’équilibraient avec une précision remarquable. Les accords mets-vins étaient tout simplement impeccables, venant sublimer chaque bouchée avec justesse et finesse. Un des moments marquants de la soirée fut sans doute la vue directe sur la brigade en action. Observer les cuisiniers à l’œuvre, dans une chorégraphie maîtrisée, ajoute une dimension vivante et fascinante à l’expérience. On ressent la passion, la rigueur et le souci du détail dans chaque geste. Le service mérite également une mention toute spéciale : à la fois humain, souriant et d’une grande amabilité. Chaque membre de l’équipe a été d’une gentillesse remarquable, contribuant à rendre notre expérience encore plus chaleureuse et mémorable. Et comme si tout cela ne suffisait pas, le chef-propriétaire est venu nous voir après le dernier service pour nous remercier personnellement de notre présence. Une attention sincère et humaine qui vient couronner une soirée déjà inoubliable. Ce n’était pas simplement un repas, c’était une véritable expérience sensorielle et émotionnelle. Un moment que mon conjoint et moi garderons précieusement en mémoire. Merci pour cette magie.”

“We decided to grab some pizza on our first night in QC. I’ve had all kinds of pizza so I knew what Neapolitan style was. It’s a bit too floppy to hold like a tavern style or a NY style. I like to either use a knife and fork or fold it then eat it. It’s meant to be soft in the middle (focus is on the flavor) and the crust is supposed to be chewy. Just a little chewy. We ordered the pizza burrata mortadella e pesto and la Barcelona. Both items were excellent. I really enjoyed the pesto, herbs, and mortadella. The Barcelona was equally as good with the chorizo iberico and the manchego cheese.

Honesty, this would be a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. However, the service on 9/18/26 after 8:30 pm was very slow. It took her awhile just to come back and take our order (I wanted to place my order ASAP because they close at 10 pm). Then again when we needed a box and our check. I didn’t like that our waitress mostly disappeared. I understand this is common among French Canadian and European culture. This is a cultural difference. I’ll still give a 4 out of 5.”
