“Really good combination of flavours and textures in this Uyghur dish.I would go back and have some more and try the other dishes they have.Highly recommend you try this chicken dish with their homemade noodles. It was our first time trying a Uyghur dish and it didn’t disappoint!“
“The food is pretty good, but they don’t respect delivery drivers. I placed an order with Uber Eats a while ago, and my order took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. I could see in the app that my food was taking a long time to be prepared. When my driver finally received the food, they arrived at my home very quickly. I didn’t complain. It really wasn’t a big deal. However, when I rated my meal, I added the “Too Slow” tag on my rating for the restaurant. I’ve ordered from them multiple times, and my order took almost twice as long to arrive than expected, so that was an accurate assessment of the situation.Someone at Chez Ping had the time to respond to my rating by blaming the driver for my late food, telling me that I can use the app to track food prep and driver delivery progress. I already knew I could do that. That’s why I didn’t blame the driver for my food taking forever to arrive. I kept looking at the app to see why it was taking so long, and the food was in the preparation stage for ages. While the food is pretty good, Chez Ping’s willingness to pass their minor mistakes off on unsuspecting delivery drivers left a bad taste in my mouth.EDIT (because it doesn't look like I can reply): Since the issue is with the app, I would really appreciate you contacting them about it, not me. I get why the problem is happening, and it's definitely unfair, but since I can't actually fix it, being told about it sounds more like an excuse than a reason. "It's not our fault, it's theirs!"-type messages don't read well over the internet at all, even when you're in the right. That being said, thanks for clarifying the previous response. I hope Uber Eats listens to your feedback and updates the order progress bar so that it better reflects what's actually happening as the meal is being prepared.Looking forward to my next order from your restaurant.“
“Whoever the chef was at the Mandarin restaurant last night, you did an amazing job on the food they don’t do delivery for the moment, but hopefully they start that back soon. The food tasted exactly like I remember it when I was a child I highly recommend this restaurant to people to celebrate, birthdays, engagements, or anything And mostly be with family. This place is very family oriented and it brought back a lot of memories of my childhood. Looking forward to going here again and this time actually eating at the restaurant. Thank you so much for reopening again“
“Great place for Chinese fondue. The laksa broth is delicious and flavorful! Lots of choice of proteins and vegetables in the “all you can eat” formula, good quality products too. There are also noodles, dumplings, dumplings and tofu in the choices. Bar for sauces, salads and desserts. There is a choice of table with individual broths or with larger broths with separators. Note that the time to eat is two hours. Only downside: almost all interactions are in English, more French would be appreciated! Excellent quality & quantity/price ratio, to try if you like Asian dishes!“
“The food is really good, only one vegetarian option. The vegetarian noodle soup is amazing because the boulion is really silky, creamy and the mushrooms inside is moist and with a lot of flavour. The cucumber salad is so crunchy and flavoury with nuts, oil and chilli. The only thing that the egg is not enough marinated. Thank you for fresh noodles ?“
“As I am a soup dumpling or XLB connoisseur that has sought out these delicious treasures across the United States and internationally, these were a delight. So much more variety than your standard XLB restaurant and only 2/3 the cost. If you have a chance, you should go here.“
“Had a wonderful experience dining here today. Was served by Cameron, rapid, polite and smiley service. When it came time to pay, Brian had the bill already set up, very kind and energetic. We saw him running around all night and kept a smile the whole time which we really appreciated. I Go there often and never disappointed by their amazing dumplings!! by far my favourite place for dumplings“
“We went this evening with 13 people and we all loved it. Having been in China for several months, this is the closest thing, and I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Montreal. Absolutely delicious!Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu and vegetable dishes. Their salt and pepper tofu is excellent! Di San Xian is also perfect.“
“The best Chinese restaurant! Everything was very good, but I particularly loved their General Tao and Mapo Tofu. The General Tao was large chunks of very well seasoned meat with a crispy breading. The Mapo Tofu was very fragrant with typical Sichuan spices. A must-see restaurant!“
“It was the first time I tasted food from this part of the world. I had no expectations, but from the first bite I was blown away. It was so delicious. To be honest, I can say that the dish I ate, the spicy chicken stir fry, is probably in the top 10 best dishes I have eaten in my life. The stir-fried noodles with lamb were also very, very good. The dishes are very tasty and the presence of Sichuan pepper amplifies the flavors to the maximum. The portions are very generous. The service is correct and the decor immerses us in Uyghur culture. These are Asian dishes from the Muslim community in China, but they are also very common in China in general. The staff is very chatty to answer your questions, parking is easy and free, and of course, everything is halal. I have read a few other very negative reviews, but for my part I cannot deny that I loved trying this cuisine, and I invite you to give it a try, it is definitely worth it. Enjoy your food!“
