“Perfect comfort food every once in a while. I've been ordering here for years and always got great service in restaurant or phone service. Delivery is fast too, when they're busy they give their E.T.A. Keep it up guys! I've had their 'shrimp pad thai', 'won ton soup', 'beef and broccoli', 'general tao', 'fried rice and veggies with shrimp'.. and a few more dishes. Very good.“
“Large portions. I was very surprised with the size. Expect to bring some food home.Enjoyed the chicken soo guy very much. Sometimes you just want something simple done right.More people picked up takeout while we were there so it looked dead inside but was actually quite busy.“
“It was the first time I tasted food from this part of the world. I had no expectations, but from the first bite I was blown away. It was so delicious. To be honest, I can say that the dish I ate, the spicy chicken stir fry, is probably in the top 10 best dishes I have eaten in my life. The stir-fried noodles with lamb were also very, very good. The dishes are very tasty and the presence of Sichuan pepper amplifies the flavors to the maximum. The portions are very generous. The service is correct and the decor immerses us in Uyghur culture. These are Asian dishes from the Muslim community in China, but they are also very common in China in general. The staff is very chatty to answer your questions, parking is easy and free, and of course, everything is halal. I have read a few other very negative reviews, but for my part I cannot deny that I loved trying this cuisine, and I invite you to give it a try, it is definitely worth it. Enjoy your food!“
“Amazing dumplings!I ordered #2, #6, and #19 and they were all amazing. The flavour of the chicken curry dumpling (#6) is what stood out from all that I’ve ordered.Dumplings had a good size, texture, and definitely taste. I am sure that I will go back here the next time I’m in town.“
“This dumpling restaurant goes beyond just serving delicious food; they embody warmth and care. They not only provide exceptional dumplings but also add an extra touch of love.Every dumpling is bursting with fresh ingredients, generously stuffed, and consistently delicious. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that leaves you feeling nurtured and appreciated.Highly recommended for both the food and the heartfelt service. Many thanks!“
“Food was great very flavourful, came here to break our fast during ramadan, the waiter gave us dates and water and made sure to give our food a few mins before iftaar so that the food stays hot which was very thoughtful, definitely would come “
“Ordered their black bean noodles Jajangmyeon via Ubereats. The food was well prepared and packed carefully. Very authentic taste like those in Seoul with affordable and reasonable price too. Definitely will have a dining experience with my friends here very soon!“
“Hole in the wall place, almost literally. They only take cash or e-transfer (not sure what that is honestly). There are two menus, one for meat and one for meals with rice. I opted for a two meat combo with crispy pork and crispy duck (which added $2 to my bill, alongside rice and a few pieces of marinated cabbage. The restaurant itself is so small that there aren't any tables or chairs so I got it to go, went back to my hotel, and enjoyed a delicious meal. After a roughly 20 minute ride back to my hotel, the skin on the meat was still crispy and everything was still warm. The meat was moist and flavorful with the perfect amount of both sweet and savory with quite the pronounced hint of Chinese five-spice. The meal is incredibly simple but done very well. The restaurant is a bit of a shock upon first glance but the staff are incredibly kind.“
“Gia Ba has amazing "non westernized" dishes. If you've never had chicken with chili and mushrooms, go run and try it. It's not a stir fry dish, it's a braised type of dish of chicken thighs in a spicy oily sauce with shitake mushrooms. It's one of the best dishes I've ever had and is pretty much all I order. If you look at the majority of poor reviews, they are coming from diners who had basic dishes like General Tao. I agree their version of General Tao isn't very good and I wish they didn't even have it on their menu. It doesn't go with the rest of their menu but I guess they're trying to please everyone. The Dan Dan Noodles are also very good. Stay away from the generic westernized dishes and you won't be disappointed.“
“I’ve gone to this restaurant for 18 years and never was I disappointed. The owner is the nicest and is always so happy and eager to serve us her food. The food is better than most chinese restaurants, and the prices are good. Definitely recommend going there.“
“My friend and I shared some beef and vegetarian dumplings, steamed, and some miso soup. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Portions were generous, with simple but pleasing presentation. Service was quick and friendly. A very clean and bright space, with simple but comfortable decor. Environment is nice and quiet so you can enjoy a good visit while you eat. We'll be back soon. Thank you!Vegetarian options: Several types of vegetarian dumplings“
“This place is wonderful. The service was timely, good service. The food was excellent. There is a big variety, dinner for one and including the tip was, 22.95. I had the Szechuan chicken with crispy spinach, including a soup and a spring roll. My friends had other dishes and everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant is furnished and everything looks new and clean. The bathroom was very nice and clean. My only problem was my G.P.S. told me that the address was on the wrong side of the street and we got lost for 10 minutes driving in the dark and it was difficult to see the addresses. Other from that everything was great. I recommend this place.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian food options.Parking: There is a small parking lot in the front.“
“We tried this restaurant for the first time, even though we have been living in the neighborhood for several years. Having known it was so good, we would have tried it long before! We placed an order online on their site, which we picked up for takeout about twenty minutes later. Everything was fresh and delicious! The wonton soups were super good, the Soo Guy chicken was really good with the accompanying sauce which was perfect, the General Tao chicken was a little too sweet for our taste but still very good and the Chinese garlic broccoli were crunchy and tasty. We will eat there next time! The restaurant looked clean, with a quiet ambiance.“
“Really good combination of flavours and textures in this Uyghur dish.I would go back and have some more and try the other dishes they have.Highly recommend you try this chicken dish with their homemade noodles. It was our first time trying a Uyghur dish and it didn’t disappoint!“
“Found this place online, listed as the best chinese food in Montreal. It could very well be. Hearty portions, great flavor, everything fresh, fragrant and delicious. Definitely worth the trip from the south shore to eat here. I look forward to coming back. Bonus: prices are affordable and there's a parking lot across the street.“
“The atmosphere is not special but that is not what I look for in a restaurant. This is my second time and I was impressed with the chefs willingness to explain and help with ordering authentic Tianjin specialties. This is not American Cantonese cuisine so be prepared for an adventure and try something different.“
“Huge points to WOK Express tonight. Friendly dispatch and delivery, food cooked to perfection, and enough deliciousness to last an entire week! I am not easily impressed, but I’m blown away. You’ve earned loyal repeat customers after this experience.“
“I have been going there for over thirty years.Have tried several restaurants like kam shing. No doubt the quality and portions are top notch. The service at times as you have read in previous reviews is questionable, but no doubt it has gotten better. If you don’t want msg or less sodium they will be happy to oblige.Again great food!!!psBeef and broccoli.,orange beef, chicken fried noodles and mixed vegetables are very good.“
“There is a huge choice of dishes. The service is still fast. There are no limits as to the number but waste is not tolerated, we must pay for dishes that are not consumed. The dishes are very good despite the variety. Often when there are too many things on the menu the quality takes a hit, not here. There is still plenty of parking outside. If you have a craving for Asian food, this is a very good option in the West Island. I advise you, enjoy your meal!“
“Overall a good dumpling place.Food:Dumplings were good. Not the absolute best, but I was certainly satisfied with them. There isn't much else on the menu though. We tried the cucumber salad and I'd give it a 3/5Service:When we arrived, it was a cold day and the place was empty other than a couple at one table. We asked to sit at the tables furthest from the front door (because of the cold) but we were told that all of those tables were reserved. So we had to sit close to the door and deal with the cold. The "reserved" tables didn't have any "reserved" signs and remained unoccupied the whole time we were there. As we were paying our bill, a couple entered and were shown to one of the "reserved" tables without being asked if they had a reservation. They didn't appear to know the staff. I don't know why this happened, but I couldn't help but notice that the couple might have been chinese. I hope this is just a misunderstanding.Overall, it was a good meal. If I ever go back, I'll ask to sit away from the door again and see what happens.“
“Omg, they’re the best (I don’t know if they need promotion, really)), but everything is so gooood, and mega generous portions (especially fried rice and soups), and they are so kind, always..???❤️??Vegetarian options: Have vegetarian options (yummy as well)Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly)“
“Been coming here for years! My girlfriend and I are some-what dumpling enthusiasts and have eaten at most dumpling restaurants in the city. This one is definitely one of our favorites! The staff is always friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. (Highly recommend the Cha Siu Bao).“
“Looking for an authentic chinese hotpot experience. Come check out this hidden gem run locally by a family. This small restaurant was opened for 5 years.I had a chance to speak to the owner and chef to claimed that everything is imported from china, all decor, all inspired. This resturant has a classical QR code menu and can faciliate standalone means or an all you can eat hotpot concept. Reservations are recommended in advance.Enjoy this private, nicely decorated and tasty resto.“
“Best fried rice in Montreal! The deliciousness of the food, generous portions and the affordable prices are the real deal.Service is fast, however they rarely answer the phone if you wish to order in advance for a pick up.I most definetely recommend this restaurant for anyone who wishes to try one of the best fried rice in town!“
“My go to spot for Chinese takeaway. Perfect hangover food haha. Big portions at a great price! I’ve probably ordered 25 times from this spot and almost always get the combo D (peanut butter tofu, vegetable fried rice, spring rolls and Chinese broccoli). Always fresh and always speedy delivery. I honestly get cravings for the place. I’ve never ever been disappointed!“
“Tasty food.It is located inside of the Cote Vertu Mall. Most of Tiki-Ming locations I have been to all have great good quality and great customer service. The prices are relatively good compared to other restaurants in the mall.On picture combo 3 choices: General Tao, noodle and steamed vegetables + spring roll.Lots of parking free available.Easy to find just walk towards Dollarama store.“
“Order and I'm missing half of my order. I went back and one of the employees redid my entire order. He gave me good service. I advise you to check your order before leaving. The rolls, pineapple chicken and Chinese vegetable soup are very good. The chicken in number 4 was fatty, but passable. The chicken mac was lacking in chicken. The big problem was the chicken rice. I don't recommend it. It was definitely overcooked, too dry. It also lacked chicken and was dry. The fried noodles for the soup also tasted out of date.Vegetarian options: To see on the menu“
