This time we'd given without hesitation 6 stars for the overall quality and especially for the combo Food/Service/Atmosphere if it were an option. - premises renovated, logically crowded, especially on week-ends but everything is perfectly managed and taken care of; - previous overall already 5 stars dinner experience even better now; - been taken care personnally by the delightful Ayu and her teammates; - even the owner Spiro honoured us with his touching presence to pay his respects on this birthday occasion; - and so on, and so on... One cannot ask for more than that... Previously: Overall, an absolutely delightful dinner experience on the occasion of wife's birthday (20+ years together). We enjoyed everything: the meal quality & freshness, the ambience, the value for the price, etc. The service was top quality (greatly improved from an already high quality one a year ago). We’d love to visit again. We'd highly recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Psst! A friendly tip for an optimal dinner experience like ours: do try to obtain to be taken care by the waitress named Ayu who was simply amazing, friendly and caring, she’ll most certainly make you feel cozy and at home (but an improved one, especially the cuisine and the service) …“

“The staff were ridiculously friendly. I dropped my drink and three employees appeared like a well-trained emergency response unit. I’m convinced they practice this in the back like a Broadway choreography.
Food? Absolutely illegal levels of DELICIOUS. If flavor had a speed limit, this team blew past it and didn’t even check the rearview mirror.

The olive oil is of a good quality.
I find the place to be overpriced and do not like the fact they do not have price tags.
Also on the receipt you cannot see how much you paid for each article. Only a total price.
This gives them the liberty to set a price on the spot.
I would recommend for food quality if you want to splurge.“

“I was in need of a quick, light bite and ordered their watermelon salad. For a seemingly simple dish it was quite satisfying and full of flavor. I highly recommend it! Indoor and outdoor seating, atmosphere is elevated but not stuffy, washrooms are located downstairs. I hope to come back and explore the rest of their menu!“

“A really nice Greek restaurant that holds its own versus a lot of the very fancy Greek restaurants you can find downtown. The place is really nice and the service is equally good, while the food is delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass notably was just melt in your mouth good, it was cooked to perfection. While the Greek sausage was an original taste and the special appetizer plate with grilled zucchini and eggplant is just as I remember it at many other restaurants. The grilled saganaki cheese is always something we look forward to. We would have liked the saganaki a little bit hotter when we received it though, but it is still delicious. The prices are what you would expect from a fancy Greek restaurant of this caliber, a nice treat from time to time. The only comment I would have is that they still use plastic bags if you take leftovers. I do prefer being asked if I want a bag to avoid the plastic waste. This place will likely be our go to in the future for such meals, no need to go downtown when you can get the same great tasting food nearby.“

“Excellent food, great mocktails, and outstanding value. The chicken skewer was juicy, perfectly seasoned, piping hot, and topped with a tangy, savoury sauce. The fries were incredibly crispy and perfect with the rich, delicious tzatziki. The rice was flavourful and addictive, and the salad was fresh.

After a disappointing meal at another Old Port restaurant that cost three times as much for tiny portions and mediocre food, this place completely saved our night.

A special shoutout to Jade, our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely down-to-earth. She made sure my wife received baklava for her birthday, graciously comped a mocktail that wasn’t to our taste, and even ran after me when I forgot my bag. Exceptional service from start to finish!“

“Wife and I just celebrated our anniversary here.
we started with some Proseco, and had a Greek Salad with a side of Crab Cakes which were decadent. My main course was the lamb chops, grilled to perfection and wife had the grilled shrimp. Both dishes came with rice and vegetables.
For dessert, we finished of with Loukoumades for two and they were so good I ordered another single portion.
We spent three and a half hours there, they do not rush you, and the service is excellent.
The staff go out of their way for you. I had developed a headache while there and the waiter made sure I got some Tylenol.

“Went to Village Grec during the weekend. Haven't had a Pita Doner for ages as I used to go to the one on Jean-Talon in Parc-Extension. It was during the afternoon on a Sunday, quiet place where you can eat in peace without too much noisy crowd. Good service by the ladies of the house. Faire enough price as they have a lunch menu that spans between 11h and 15h everyday, even during the weekend. I had the Pita Doner plate, with greek potatoes, rice and greek salad, it was as great as i remebered it. 👍 next time i'll take their fried calamaris, I recall they were awesome.“

The Greek salad and the green salad were both excellent
The seabass was pretty good
The locomadis was excellent
The service is friendly. Lorenzo, our server, was knowledgeable and efficient

The main problem is that the Restaurant is a bring your own wine type

Overall, it deserves 4.6 stars“
