“We went on Jan 24 to celebrate my wife birthday When I called for reservation they said they would put a note that it was her birthday. When we arrive we were greeted by a hostess who was so welcoming show us to our table and took our coats. Our food was delicious we had calamari to start with. My wife had the veal Marsala and I had the rapini with sausage both were excellent. And yes they didn’t forget my wife birthday brought a piece of cake .
Definitely will be back .“

“Great steaks and lamp chops may be the best in town. The menu is not big, but the items are very fresh and tasty. The grilled octopus is a must-try. The service is good and the atmosphere is good and could a private room for events.

“Came across this “pizza” restaurant because it sits across the drive from Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal. What a pleasant surprise. We didn’t order pizza (must come back for that) but from their absolutely delicious, as it turns out, menu. Our dishes were premium and comfort rolled into one. “the ceasar salad can be given a 6 star. Chicken dish was generous and meat was very tender. Would return just for the ceasar salad anytime. The tagliolino nero was average and a bit over priced compared to the other entrees. Lamb shops interestingly only had 4 pieces of meat without any vegetables or sides on the plate. Panna water and pellegrino was the same price as a Moretti beer. Service was attentive and efficient. Atmosphere was warm and inviting.“

“We celebrated a special event at Donato's on a regular Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We had an exquisite and memorable experience. The table d'hote had so many offerings at unbeatable prices. Every dish was served to perfection and our party of 4 agreed that there was nothing missing or lacking from this experience. Many thanks Tony for offering champagne on the house as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Concordia. We WILL be back!“

“I brought my sister here for her birthday and we were both very happy with the experience. All of the courses were delicious. The portions seem small at first but we were both full by the end of the night. I especially loved the panna cotta which I had never tried before.
The atmosphere was my favourite part; it is a very intimate setting with beautiful music and ambience.
