“I love to go a la Piazzetta, nice food at reasonable prices and great atmosphere. Every time I meet a friend for lunch, it's my favorite place to go. I recommend it without hesitation!!Parking: Right beside the restaurant at La Piazzetta in St-Lambert“
“Parking: Free parking was almost full although there were several unoccupied spots for the handicapped. Restaurants was also full so guess they could be used in such case because there re no parking spot on the street unless you park across at the McDonald's“
“It is my fourth time coming to this restaurant. For 65$ you can feast on the best food of your life. The mushroom pizza is a must, so is the entree with the beets. The service is also incredible. I judge good service by wether or not my water ever gets empty. And it never does here. Someone will always be paying attention to your table making sure your glass is refilled. And this shows their care for your experience beyond judt water, of course. My favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.“
“To start, excellent service from Michelle, we were very well advised and served throughout the evening. The tasting menu was very diverse and plentiful, if you are the type who likes to taste a little of everything in a restaurant, this is clearly the best option for you :-) and the price of $55 per person seems more than reasonable to me given the quality and quantity of the dishes received! The two of us had 3 starters to share (Burrata with focaccia, aged prosciutto and a dish of fried scallops), each a dish of pasta, a plate of lamb sausage to share, 2 zeppoles and a dome of pistachio ice cream, it was really perfect!“
“Une merveilleuse expérience à toute heure du jour ou du soir où la qualité du service et des plats font honneur, encore et toujours, à la notoriété du restaurant! 5 ⭐️ Merci au Muscadin de nous faire revivre ses classiques ❤️❤️❤️“
“Nora Grey is a highly celebrated restaurant in Montreal. In terms of service and atmosphere, I can see why. The food though? Good, but way overpriced. Like WAY overpriced.60$ for half a bavette, and a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes. The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.“
“The atmosphere is trendy and inviting and the service was impeccable without being pretentious. Each dish was delicious while featuring seasonal ingredients. We particularly liked the radish salad. Nice selections of natural wines and cocktails. Do not miss!“
“Overall, pizza was tasty, cooked perfectly, and had quality ingredients. However, there was wayyyy too much pecorino on my Sazeech pizza, and probably too much mozzarella as well. The mozzarella was tolerable, but the pecorino was seriously overpowering. Still, an enjoyable experience.“
“Honestly, I love it. A mall food court has always been the same, this one stands out. To put restaurants other than fast food all in the same place and give them the same look so that they stand out through the food? Genius. I hope it can continue and maybe even be copied.Alex“
“The drinks were lovely, the food amazing ( gnocchi light& delicious). The chef also is operatic quality tenor; we were lucky enough to hear him sing. Service was friendly attentive & excellent. Ambiance- very homey- mismatched chairs& such but added to charm. Can't wait to return!“
“Have not had pasta in a very long time due to gluten intolerance. Found this hidden gem in old montreal. Fantastic ambiance & very good Italian food options. Music was great. If you are looking for some traditional Italian food this is a must try in old montreal!Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options including pasta & bread!“
“Everything is simply perfect!Vegetarian options: Several veggie optionsParking: It's the city center so you have to search a littleKid-friendliness: Possible for patient and gourmet childrenWheelchair accessibility: Yes through the garage“
“It's quality over quantity in this very inconspicuous but incredibly delicious little Italian restaurant where we had one of the best pizzas we've ever tasted.Fresh ingredients, an authentic menu and a home-y atmosphere reminiscent of Nonna's house.Ideal for a date night. You might push your usual budget a little bit but we assure you it's worth it.“
“Went for brunch and all the food and mimosas were super delicious, I'd really recommend the fried cauliflower on the vegetarian all you can eat plate. I tried a friend's duck poutine and it was a little salty but very very delicious, our server Charles was very nice as “
“Good service- not great. Had to request more water and another glass of wine after waiting over 30 minutes. We were seated at the bar and it was a fairly busy night but often staff were available and and chatting. Food was very good but not particularly inventive. This may sound picky but the polenta was floury- not creamy or buttery or cheesy . A small detail but noticeable.“
“Beautiful restaurant in Verdun with amiable service. Our food arrived very quickly. The ambiance was amazing. The food was a let down. We had carbonara pasta and Lia Pizza. Pasta was well cooked but it was way too salty. Pizza was soggy due to the tomato sauce, but the ingredients were better, and sadly the crust were super burnt. We did notify the waiter about it. Overall, the experience was fun but the food was below average and overpriced.“
“Best pizza and salad EVER!!! Authentic Italian food ?But disappointed of the delivery people….gave the guy tip and he was unsatisfied with the amount giving me attitude so from now on I am not giving any more tip at all since clearly they don’t appreciate it. He had a very disgraceful and inconsiderate attitude.“
“We were walking in the street and decided to try this place, it looked cozy from the outside.Seating area is good, a bit crowded and tables close to each other like every other restaurant in Montreal. Service was amazing, the staff really did their best.Food was delicious, ordered the chicken, and a kind of pasta. Both were great, I recommend also trying the Ricotta cheese with honey appetizer. The only down side for me was that the menu is a bit limited.“
“Highly recommend this amazing restaurant. The food is so delicious, the atmosphere and location is beautiful. The service is best. The owner in person greets us at the entrance. Very warm and friendly gentleman. If you visit Montreal you should definitely visit this Italian “
“P'tit latte this morning was a banger, the service is exceptional too. I'm going back at noon to try the paninis, I'll keep you informed, team, but I think we've got a nugget ?UPDATE: I ate the panini, I'm not disappointed damneeeeel! Ultimately it's not a classic panini, it's a kind of foccacia, it exudes Italy (I love Sicily) for $10, not gross (they're still just as nice 4 hours later)5? Subscribe for more nuggets (Italian or not, I love lots of other countries)“
“Portion is huge and very tasty for the price. The cost cutting measures are very clear though. 5 cents for utensils other than chopsticks, gnocchi is just round balls, etc. No complaints though and the service is good. Would highly recommend spending the extra money on chili flakes.“
“This was one of the most incredible restaurants I've ever been to. Wine? Incredible. Food? Incredible. Vibes? Incredible.Everything is so delicious and fresh and yummy. Their signature knuckles calzones were phenomenal. Then we got the kale salad which was the freshest thing I've ever had. We finished it off with carbonara (with pasta made fresh from directly across the street) and Wagyu beef stuffed onions. Just all around incredible and I'll never stop raving about this restaurant. Can’t wait to come back to Montreal for this and try other times on the menu.“
“Wow just wow!!! Absolutely the best pasta I have ever eaten outside of Italy… honestly, better than most I’ve eaten in Italy, too. We had the antipasto of arancini and salad and the wild boar ravioli, fettuccine with artichoke and mushrooms, and the ravioli with spinach and Parmigiano … and the bread and focaccia - outstanding. 10/10. A gem!“
“5 stars. Why? Star 1. The platter of fried seafood had the lightest, crispiest batter I’ve ever had. And if that’s not enough, the most savoury, too. Star 2. The seafood pasta was Al Dente to perfection. Not because it was very good, but because it was flawless. Nothing soft, nothing crunchy. Al Dente. Star 3. The Ossobuco. Never mind the rich Risotto that surrounds it. Never mind that the meat from the veal shank falls off the bone and into your heart. It’s all about the bone marrow. It makes the dish. It’s flavour permeates the sauce that covers the bone as it arrives nestled on your plate. It is the essence of Ossobuco, and Amerigo delivers it in spades. Star 4. Cannoli. Crispy, fresh, heavy, heavenly. Star 5. The service. 5/5. 10/10. 100%. We had seats at the bar and we waited for nothing. We wanted for nothing. A team of family and friends. In short, Amerigo stands for one thing: Communion.“
“Alex and Katie were super nice, helpful & professional.Great ambiance, Clean & tasty!Ordered the salmon plate and Nutella Pizza. Very good and reasonably priced. Gluten free options too.Definitely Recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Fantastique expérience culinaire du début à la fin, accompagnée par un excellent service. On a particulièrement aimé les agnolotti de foie de volaille servis avec noisettes et vincotto de camerises, mais tout était absolument délicieux - je dirais même renversant. Merci pour la belle soirée!“
“We ate there for the first time a week ago. Ordered a pitcher of sangria, bruschetta and calamari as appetizers and all were served very quickly and were delicious. Then main courses of veal, sole and gnocchi which were equally good. There was absolutely no room for dessert and we all took doggy bags home because the portions were so generous! Service was fast and friendly. Trattoria Mario is a great neighbourhood restaurant which I recommend highly. Planning to return soon, hope to try the desserts!“
“The meat was good, the citrus tiramisu and the peach cocktail. Also, the lady serving was very kind and professional. On the other hand, the portion was very small and the goat cheese pasta didn't taste much for the price. Looking at the photos we really should have had the steak. We were expecting a wow factor, so maybe that’s why we thought this particular dish wasn’t that exceptional.“
“Cosy restaurant offering a delicious menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised with the choice of Escalopes.Parking: We parked the car a few meters before the restaurant in a paid parking spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed their pasta and their family time!“
“First off! Atmosphere was incredible such cool jams playing and warm inviting space. The whole staff made you feel like family. The food was the most authentic Italian you can find around here. The homemade focaccia to the handmade noodles, this place hands down 10 stars! As we paid we made another reservation to enjoy once more before heading back to California! Highly recommend having a bite here!Thank you so much to the whole team“
“Montreal’s hidden gem! Stumbled upon the bar while at the Sports Complex for a soccer showcase. Bartenders Lauren and Gianni made great drinks and were so friendly to us out of town clientele. Came in for a drink and stayed for the delicious pizza and pasta. Thank you Capucine!“
“For an extraordinary experience, it’s at Monza St-Bruno! The food is delicious, the service is fast & the restaurant employees all work as a team, it’s great to see the mutual support there is in this restaurant! As a customer, it’s really nice to be offered things that don’t appear on the menu. The sharing boards are impressive and worth a try! I recommend this restaurant to everyone! 10/10“
“Batiste without P is disappointed but Baptiste with P had a blast (joke aside in the photos lol)! A wonderful discovery in my friend's neighborhood. The pizzas are perfect. Fine paste, delicate, fragrant. Wow!?We took the French and the Pecora! The cheese is good quality! And the extra thin and crispy dough Among the top of the best pizzas in Montreal. Definitely worth discovering. And you will be well received when you arrive!A delight without moderation! ??“
“Delightful staff! We were seated and helped promptly. The gang that helped us were attentive, polite and all around lovely. It’s a sweltering day but that certainly didn’t take away from our experience. Maude was our server but we had help form a few others- all lovely. The food was delicious and fresh-“
“Elie found this café and suggested that we go and discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat and they serve it to you. There’s nothing weird about it. It’s just confusing when you get in because they don’t necessarily explain it to you. we’ve seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect and two for the server to bring the food to the right table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese and tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic and not enough basil. For people who have travelled around and have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we’re being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly. The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn’t really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside and the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish. It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you’re looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.“
“It was a wonderful meal with very attentive staff. We had 14 people in our party including 7 young teens. All were taken care of expediently. The atmosphere was great with an old city flair. Cozy and inviting. Would recommend as a great place to attend whether your group is large or small.Kid-friendliness: Our 7 youngsters had their own table and were taken care of so well we hardly knew they were there. The kids were great also.“
“Excellent food, friendly service, great menu choices. We started with fried calamari and grilled octopus. It was fresh and delicious. As for the main course I had the filet mignon it was amazing and my better half had the gnocchi, he loved it, it's handmade by their chef! I recommend this place.“
“I never enjoyed the food and atmosphere like that! Perfect taste, fresh food, cozy and warm place. Exceptional experience for me as a picky foody person. We ordered Lamb chops and stuffed chicken with pasta. Both dishes were perfectly made, very tasty. Good size portion, reasonable wait between appetizer and food. Very welcoming staff.Thank you for this amazing experience on my birthday Touché.“
“EXCELLENT restaurant. My favorites: Calamari and mushrooms pasta.Everyone is very nice. We LOVE the candlesIn winter: I strongly recommend you bring a good sweater as the restaurant is cold, they set the heater but there are drafts coming from the windows and walls. We go often and we always have a great time! ?“
“In town for business and I am so happy we found this place. Unbelievable meal, great service. The owner clearly wants to make sure everybody has a great experience and we were not disappointed. Looking for an excuse to go back to Montreal just so I can eat here again!“
“It was our first visit since the change of ownership about 2 years ago and we wondered if the authenticity of Italian cuisine had been preserved. Well, we can certainly confirm that the taste and quality of the dishes (shrimp pasta and scallop risotto) we chose reflect good Italian cuisine. Additionally, the wines by the glass are excellent.“
“We had Mauro as our waiter and he is so wonderful! Very on top of it and super friendly. Our waitress recommended many activities and places and the owner came out to speak to everyone. Service? 11/10. Food? Also 11/10. Atmosphere? 11/10. Extra stars-UMASS “
“An exceptional experience at the Abruzzo restaurant! Our wedding reception was beautifully orchestrated. The staff, combining warmth and professionalism, created a welcoming atmosphere. The romantic decor added a special touch, while the delicious cuisine won over all the guests.A huge thank you to the chef and the entire team for making this moment so memorable!“
“We've had the lunch special and we've gotten some pasta, pesto and burrata to take home and cook ourselves later. Service is super friendly, the pasta is sooo good! The lunch deal is great, changes every day and you can't really go wrong with pasta and sauce to take home. Can't wait to try a lasagna!“
“One of the best Italian restaurants with affordable price. Pizzas & pastas are very good! Nice staff. Service is good. They have a small bar with a variety of Italian alcoholic drinks wine, beer, and other drinks. I’ve been there more than 20 times, never disappoints! A must-try!!!“
“We had a great evening, if you are looking for a simple but nice place to eat that is the place. Food was exceptional, service was excellent especially with Vanessa taking care of us. WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON AND RECOMMEND YOU TO SOME FRIENDS.“
“High quality pizza. I just ate for the first time. The pizza is very delicious with a good sauce and good ingredients. I had a seafood and beef pizza. It's very clean. Courteous and fast service. Very reasonable price for the best quality offered.“
“Le meilleur service au Monde .... Votre pizza extrordinaire. Votre jambon un délice votre compassion merveilleuse. D'une cliente très satisfaite et surtout conquise. Miss Montréal 1997- Productrice Reportet arts et Culture. Un commerce c'est comme une famille.“
“We just ate here this evening. We took a chance they would have room without a reservation. We sat at the bar and we were not disappointed. The woman who seated us was very attentive. The pasta was amazing! I had gnocchi and my dinner companion ordered puttanesca. Everything was super. The pino grigio, the pasta , the focaccia (for the sauce of course), so fresh snd light. We ended up ordering a pizza to go for lunch tomorrow. Thank you again, can’t wait to come back!“
“One of the best italian restaurants I’ve been to! Every dish was more impressive than the other, amazing flavours and great quality of food. Amazing service from the staff, our waiter Ruben’s recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. Definitely going back.“
