“Gia is a fun place to go to when in Montreal. It's tucked behind an old industrial building on Lenoir that houses high tech startups and it exudes that vibe. The food is Italian and very, very good. Inventive and comforting at the same time. Our service was terrific. They have ample parking in the back. I saw a sign that said it was one of the best 100 restaurants in Canada and I can see why.“

During lunch hours it's usually quite busy but the wait is well worth it!“

“Montréal à table à la Terasse du W Un mousseux "Crément d'alsace" pour accompagner mes "Crevettes et sorbet au cari": Crevettes marinées et grillées façon thaï (5), sorbet cari coco, lime, coriandre. Mon appréciation: crevette sucrée et piquante adouci par le sorbet rafraîchissant et gouteux, un délice. Un vin blanc "Sancerre" avec Tostadas à la pieuvre grillée (3) Pico de gallo, crème d’avocats, oignons marinés à l’hibiscus, piment chili, laitue et tomates. Mon appréciation: la pieuvre d'une belle tendretée, le tout excellent avec l'ajout de jus de lime. Sans la lime, on goûte bien l'oignon qui est sucré. Panna cotta au chocolat et au rhum Mousse de litchi: on goûte le amer du chocolat, le sucrée de la mousse de litchie équilibre l'assiette pour la gardée fraîche en bouche. Les boules croustillantes ajoute de la texture au plat. Excusez ma fin de rhume pour ne pas avoir goûté au rhum. Ambiance musical style lounge avec une touche qui donne envie de danser aux gens comme moi qui ont le beat dans le sang. Et que dire du service, ils m'ont mise à l'aise toute suite, moi qui va au restaurant seule, je me sentais comme une reine. J'ai pu goûter à different vin pour choisir celui qui me plaît. C'est agréable d'être certain de boire ce qu'on apprécie. Parfois, la barmaid savait plus que moi si j'appréciais le vin. Merci de m'avoir permis d'en goûter un autre.“

“100% of goto italian restaurant on the South Shore. We went twice in the last 6 weeks. Both times wowed us.

Service was perfect, the wine recommendations also great (but I do not like that I can't get these at SAQ private import)

Food was also so good. Grilled octopus with a vinigrette that included. I think capers, I do not like capers, but this was fabulous.

Lamb nicely cooked. Although, to be honest was a bit too medium rather than rare as I did. Ask for it rare medium, not medium rare, but still very tasty.

Our second trip was all pasta, the tortellini was cooked perfectly and the sauce, not at all overpowering. My wife had the same experience with her pasta dish

Desserts are also special here, but I will give you one word of warning. Do not order the coffee. It is, I'm sorry, guys really bad. Our waiter noticed how bad I found it recommended an espresso and it was good. So do an espresso or a cappuccino to top off your evening.“

“Situated on rue St Paul we ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, braised lamb shank (Les 100 Clochers) with fettuccine red wine sauce, plus complimentary salad bar and garlic butter. Great ambience and Charles Dickens wrote some of the Tale of Two Cities here!! Service very good and the food was amazing. Add it your list. Beet salad and arancini were very good. The calamari was excellent. Salads all dressed very nicely.

Braised beef was tender. The vodka pasta was exceptional. Very rich.

I generally don't care for chicken parm, but this one was spectacular.

Capped it off with a super light and smooth tiramisu. Divine.

“Simply the best pasta I've ever eaten in my life and I've tried several. We have always spent excellent evenings at this place. It's practically a guarantee of a successful evening. The price is not astronomical considering the high quality of the food. Calm and cozy atmosphere. The service is very courteous and personalized. “i loved it! ordered the spaghetti with branzino and panna cotta for dessert and it was all delicious. incredibly simple and well executed dishes, with a very nice emphasis on good ingredients.

the spaghetti was a great meal, and a nice contrast between the richness of the sauce and the bright flavour of the cherry tomatoes. honestly i found that the fish didn't really need to be in there at all, it would have been just as good if not better as a vegetarian dish.
panna cotta was great too, i loved that the main flavour was really the fresh sweet cream, with some slight hints of lemon and vanilla.

the rest of the table ordered the filet mignon, fettucini ragu, beet salad, and eggplant parmigiana, as well as the lava cake and lemon tart for dessert, and everyone was quite happy with their food. lovely place for a very special occasion, as its quite pricey and the service is a lot more involved and upscale than i am typically used to!“

“This is a fantastic twist on a shopping centre food fair. Truly an elevated experience that I've not seen in a mall before. The food choices are numerous among the many different stalls. We settled on the Hong Kong BBQ. Our meals were very good, and quite reasonable priced.
