To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes.The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.“

“Elie found this café and suggested that we go and discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat and they serve it to you. There’s nothing weird about it. It’s just confusing when you get in because they don’t necessarily explain it to you. we’ve seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect and two for the server to bring the food to the right table.We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese and tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic and not enough basil. For people who have travelled around and have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we’re being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly.The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn’t really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside and the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish.It was OK to visit. I think the saltiness probably comes from the seafood itself, but still worth trying!“
